The patter actually fits with Midge's character, so it doesn't seem as out of place as it might have. Also Rachel Bronsahan delivers it in her own style, rather than just breakneck speed. And the mother and father characters both make it their own. (I love Tony Shalhoub's delivery actually!) Midge and Susie obviously have the AS-P dynamic, but it doesn't seem so marked. [/quote]
