| Is the Pope Catholic? Of course I'm watching. |
| Is it, like, for kids? |
There's partial nudity and bad language in the first show. |
| It is utterly delightful and hilarious! The costumes are stellar. Love it!! |
| Binged the whole thing. Actually liked the pilot more than the rest in the end. It was enjoyable in general but some things were a little trite. The clothes are fabulous and the comedy is actually witty. But the lead really is so clueless about some things in life and that became grating. They needed to make it more clear that she is 26 since now a days someone with a 4 year old and a baby would be 30 or older (around my circle at least). |
But she married directly out of college and was married 4 years. |
NO. |
There's lots of cursing throughout the series, not just in the pilot. |
| Is it “girly” or are husbands/men watching too? |
|
It's wonderful. Finishing the last episode right now. I think her age/appearance is perfectly fitting for the time period - it's clear to me.
The pilot was the best episode by far. Just the right amount of kitsch. Love love love it. |
my guess is upper income Jewish women and or fans of Gilmore Girls (who are mostly women) are watching. As a woman, I found the main character insufferable. She spends the opening credits insulting the rabbi at her wedding to prove how "funny" she is. Then opening minutes is years later she finally won over the rabbi to finally come to her house for some holiday. Well, duh, don't insult people. The attention to costumes is great. I'll give it that. |
Guy here who didn't watch Gilmore Girls and loved the first episode. She's got great tatas. |
Yes, they are nice. So in addition to the costumes, there were 3 things good about the first episode. |
Why not just ask, "Is it for kids?"
|
| Watching her stand up is tiresome and gimmicky. The characters are pretty good and the idea of her seeking an unconventional career is interesting, but it’s overdone. |
