I’m not wild about the jacket but it’s different and she takes risks. Michelle Obama has worn some truly hideous, worse outfits that get revered in the other thread about her. There were deafening cheers from the crowd for this appearance!

Interestingly, the cut of the leg on the model looks different than on her. On Ivanka, it tends towards "skinny leg" where its a straight drape on the model (which I like better). I actually kind of like the suit, but not with that shirt. I also think when you have a pattern that loud, you need to be really careful that it's not also tight.
The shirt and jacket might be okay together with solid color pants, or the shirt and pants with solid color jacket. And I'm not crazy about the big hoops with any of it. With a suit this bold, something more demure on the ear ... maybe a grey pearl stud or something.
