These are not scared or confused faces. And if you buy that statement, go ahead and send your money to the Nigerian prince already.

Other witnesses? The Black Hebrews? The other Native American present spewing obscenities? We have hours and hours of video from a variety of sources. His account totally lines up with the videos. |
And I watched them all. I have read none of the stories. The kids were still a-holes to the old man. |
That is not the face of someone who is not sure what to do. |
Except for the videos of the kid standing in Phillips' path, staring at him with a mocking smile, while the other boys are chanting "Sandmann," the boy's name. |
No the woman and her mother visiting. The photojournalist up from NC. |
Which ones? The brain-dead phony Israelites spewing hatred towards gays and whites, or the indians yelling at the kids to move to Europe? |

I’d be beyond mortified to be his mother. I’d wonder where his father and I had gone wrong. Then I’d take a look at what he is being taught at that school and what sort of people his friends were.

You should watch the ENTIRE tape and make up your own mind, instead of relying on biased witness statements. An open mind--try it out for a change. Full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3EC1_gcr34&feature=youtu.be https://reason.com/blog/2019/01/20/covington-catholic-nathan-phillips-video |
Standing in Phillips' path? You mean, the path that Phillips himself set that ignored open areas?- if he was indeed attempted to head to the Memorial itself. Let's not forget that Phillips walked up to the kid. Phillips did not attempt to back away. Phillips did not attempt to walk around the group. And, Phillips is quoted as saying....... “There was that moment when I realized I’ve put myself between beast and prey,” Phillips told the Detroit Free-Press. “These young men were beastly and these old black individuals was their prey, and I stood in between them and so they needed their pounds of flesh and they were looking at me for that.” and “It was getting ugly, and I was thinking: ‘I’ve got to find myself an exit out of this situation and finish my song at the Lincoln Memorial,’ ” Phillips recalled. “I started going that way, and that guy in the hat stood in my way, and we were at an impasse. He just blocked my way and wouldn’t allow me to retreat.” Both statements were total BS and is one reason why most reputable media sources are starting to walk back their stories. |

I'd actually be pretty damned proud of my kid keeping his composure after the social media mob began attacking. And, as for the school.........reports are they are considering lawsuits against some media companies and people on Twitter. Several attorneys have offered their services pro bono. I hope they do and I hope they win big. This public mob mentality. needs to be stopped. |

This CNN story has it right. The kids were, for the most part, well behaved. There were a lot of racist comments being thrown at them (and others in the crowd). However, I believe the ones at fault here were the chaperones of the kids, who should not have let them chant their school spirit cheers to begin with, and who should have had them retreat when the Native Americans marched into their space.
Unfortunately, the focus is on one smug face, which does not tell the whole story. https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/21/us/maga-hat-teens-native-american-second-video/index.html |
He kept no composure. That's a lawyer drafted statement. How naive are you guys? Or blind, because he's on your side? |
