No it is not odd at all. This was a very private, intimate and vulnerable moment for those closest to the queen to say goodbye and mourn together before having to face the barrage of public events. It was very classy of them to invite Harry, despite all that’s gone down. It was crass of Meghan to insert herself and do so so publicly. That was the olive branch extended and the duo are so clueless they missed the mark again.

Harry will regret one day being in London and not visiting his dying grandmother in Balmoral, which he was invited to. And he will regret delaying his flight to argue with his clueless wife of why she can’t be at an intimate moment of a family she has disparaged publicly.

I think when Kate decided not to go, the Palace said Meghan couldn’t come.

It's not automatic. Archie was born before Charles was King. For Archie to become a prince as a grandchild of the regent. King Charles would have to issue letters patent, which he is unlikely to do.

+1 they are eligible. But, given Charles only reference to H&M during his first public address was that they continued to “love and support them as they live their lives in the US.” No need to titles if they are choosing to live here.

It is automatic. It’s now up to the parents whether they choose to use the titles for their kids.
People are getting confused with the Cambridge kids situation. The Queen issued letters for Charlotte and Louis because they were her great-grandchildren, not grandchildren. George was born a prince because he is a direct heir.

I’ve been a fan of M & H, I’ve been critical of M & H.

At this point I am so tired of the drama.

Harry has done nothing to deserve all of this talk. Let him be in peace, or in terrible mourning, or whatever he wants for a while.

Also, people need to stop with the clickbait articles about Harry wasn’t there for her death. 1. He tried. 2. Apparently others missed it too.

Stop being the eagle eye for what Kate and Meghan do or how they get treated differently in the next week. Both of them need to quietly do what’s needed and put the emphasis on QEII and Charles.

Last, people getting involved in prince or princess discussions for Archie and Lilibet, you guys all act like it will be up to you. 1. It will happen soon, if not fairly automatically. 2. Those kids are 6th and 7th in line. They will get whatever they need.

This is true. I’m the rare Meghan Markel fan and I just cannot wrap my head around how the English (and others in the commonwealth but mostly English) think of these things. And not just backward, old school English who still think the British Empire is glorious.

Fact - MM and Harry parted ways with Harry's family. They did so because they said they didn't want to share in the life of a royal in full. All the bad stuff that is. They didn't feel that life was fair to them in this context nor the environment was comfortable for MM.

Fact - they still however wanted the advantages of being special ie part of the total family. They leveraged every single drop of Harry's royalty to do and be who they are - they wanted to parttake in everything until the Queen said you can't have your cake and eat it too.
