Because the Queen was already dead and they had just dropped the children off for the first day of school. She needed to be there 
Fact - MM and Harry parted ways with Harry's family.  They did so because they said they didn't want to share in the life of a royal in full.  All the bad stuff that is.  They didn't feel that life was fair to them in this context nor the environment was comfortable for MM.

Fact - they still however wanted the advantages of being special ie part of the total family.  They leveraged every single drop of Harry's royalty to do and be who they are - they wanted to parttake in everything until the Queen said you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Fact - they criticized and ostracized the royal family by the interviews and speeches they've made publicly.  They have leveraged the drama to profit.

How are you a fan of MM??  As an ordinary person, if one of my family clearly wanted out yet still wanted to cherry

It does not seem odd for a granddaughter-in-law to not show up at the bedside. What is a little odd is for the second son of the future king to not be able to travel to Scotland on the same military jet his brother took. Does it have to do with Harry not being able to use public resources? They couldn't stop being paranoid about whether he would share details about the experience or what people would say in his memoir? Harry should have been treated as an equal to William by his father in this particular private situation. [/quote]

It's not as rare as her haters make it out to be. I'm also a MM fan -- and also fascinated with the royal family in general. It's usually the MM haters who think those two interests are mutually exclusive.[/quote][/quote]
