These are photos of FLOTUS from 2018. I don’t know if you are one of those women who is highly self critical about weight, and the weight of all women, or just looking for something to gossip about, but she has alway had a trim figure. I can’t imagine how hard it is to maintain it. My goodness.

You're conflating two things, PP. Whether she has gained weight, and whether women need to stay rail thin in order to be valuable in the world. I think it's indisputable she has gained weight. I also think women don't - or shouldn't - need to be rail thin in order to be valuable in this world.

But yes, it's striking how different she looks from when this disgraceful family first came to occupy the White House. If you want visual evidence feel free to return to the beginning of this 400-something page thread.

+1 Menopause. Trying to keep up with her husband’s fast food intake. Stress eating. She still looks great, but twenty pounds heavier than two or three years ago.

First photo of thread: I don’t see a difference. It would be great for someone to post photos showing the 20-30 lb weight gain.

The coat and the 2nd bag are WAAAAY too big for the model. And, I don't get the need for a crossbody bag AND the huge bag. She looks like a clean bag lady.

He’s too heavy to pick up his feet when he walks; he shuffles and that wears down the to. Maybe it’s peripheral neuropathy.

He wears lifts. And probably big ones given that wear pattern, and the way he leans over from the waist all the time.

That is weird, and I think it is only caused by one of two things. First is someone who wears their shoes forever, but gets the heel part replaced (which is really easy) when it starts to wear. Possible, but doubtful -- Trump strikes me as the type that probably owns 10 of the same shoe., or just orders the same shoe over and over again from the same company. The second, more likely explanation, is that he jams or kicks his feet as a nervous habit. My kid does this and his shoes are always worn at the front. I think that's consistent with my general understanding of Trump, which is that he is astoundingly child-like in many of his behaviors (e.g., restrictive eating, inappropriate use of screens, poor anger management and thin skin generally, etc.). I guess a third possiblity is that it might be caused by a shuffling gait, like people get with adult onset hydrocephalus or after a stroke. I wonder if someone here with a relative that shuffles could provide insight into what their shoes look like.

I don't believe he has the energy for a nervous tick of that nature. Just look him standing at a lectern, he shifts all his weight forward. Whatever bad posture makes that necessary, is bound to cause a wear pattern on his shoes. Even if the heels are replaced regularly, the way the toe is worn down is peculiar.

Have you noticed he is not walking correctly? He uses the wife as a cane. He drags his right leg. You can see this in videos and photos shared on Twitter. I have watched videos where he is having seizures or some kind of jerking body movement. He does this at his speeches. I watch them sometimes.

He also slurs his words and forgets words or uses the wrong ones.

He appears to be wearing a back brace of some kind.
