Confused. So BRYC wants 2006s to come to its ECNL ID sessions in order to create some U12 pre-Pre-ECNL team? That sounds ridiculous. You would figure it is for finding some very good 2006s to come play up on its U13 Pre-ECNL team this Fall. No one can clarify this?

U12 and below will play EDP or NPL

U13 (Pre-Ecnl) will play ECNL schedule without the showcases and playoffs

U14 and above will play ECNL with showcases and playoffs

They want to ID their player pool now and call it pre-pre. But it actually means nothing.

So will the 2006s be doing anything different then the 2007s? They just announced tryouts coming really soon and they still have this INTENTIONAL divide between U11 and U12. http://www.brycsoccer.com/girls-tryouts-fall-2017

I know such a waste of time when you consider all The riveting potty training discussions or "when should I buy a new yoga mat" threads.

ECNL will offer a U13 age group for clubs that are interested. It is not mandatory and is up to each club to decide if they wish to opt in or not. It is possible that BRYC is considering opting in since they will be out of CCL next year.

What life work do you have to speak of? Besides writing blogs about skinny jeans in your mom's basement

I'm just providing possible context to why a club might be inclusive of inviting 06's to a 05 tryout. The information was presented as nothing more than fact, but you can take your judgement and shove it up your ass because I'm pretty sure nobody asked you for it.

Relax snowflake. Put on your thinking cap. Sure you can answer your own question.

who knows but it says to contact L. Best -
he dodged a bullet by running from the girls DA mess and 4-club alliance and getting the ecnl franchise that was taken away from FCV -
maybe he got the same memo that the TX Sting did?!?! -

It's probably not a paying customer of BRYC but someone that wants to try out. But I agree, just ask the question to the contacts listed.

You and sting...what is it with you. I can tell you know nothing about ECNL. ECNL was not taken away from FCV. They gave it up. (After being a founding member).

Many clubs turned down DA for ECNL...not just sting...that's old news.

BRYC will now claim ECNL is the best thing ever after years of telling their kids that its not worth it. Laughable

Why do you care? Choose the path that is best for your kid and stop worrying about what other parents do with their kids.

As long as the coaching at BRYC remain of high quality your kid will be fine but there is no need to rationalize your choice by tearing down someone else's choice. Congrats, your kid lucked into the inside track of a quality league but don't act like you are some kind of genius because ECNL just fell into your lap. it's not like you planned it that way

Because this has become a information war. Parents are trying to sway other parents on where to go....usually by tearing down the other club.

The 06s are not invited to tryout with the 05s. For the 06s the "tryouts" are the same format as the older age groups (what they are calling id sessions aka come out to a practice). Yes - the label ecnl is session doesn't quite fit for the 06s.
