I think it is pretty obvious that she is pointing out he wasn't out there jogging for his health. Not very polite rhetoric and it won't change a thing in the case but that's her point.

The bigger problem is the family having racist divisive figures like Sharpton and Jackson. Obviously to intimidate the jury which might backfire.
At this point I think it's been well established why he kept going back to that construction site. The neighbors had valid reason to pursue (though not wise), and ask why he kept going into their neighbors home. Obviously the one didn't expect to be attacked, nor his gun taken.

I don't know if they are relevant to the actions directly before his death, but I think his attire was used to suggest that he wasn't just out jogging for exercise.

It relevant because he was wearing running shorts…. But alt -right groups spread lies he was wearing cargo shorts, the defense attorney said he was wearing “khakis” which sound like “cargo shorts” not running shorts. She can say khaki because it’s a color that is a reasonable description or his shorts but it’s racist because she wants jurors to think “cargo shorts” instead of tan running shorts. I guess they think you commit crimes in khakis instead of running shorts amc that justification for killing an innocent man in cold blood.

They were cargo shorts. The alt-right doctored photos to show him in boots, instead of the white Nikes he was actually wearing, and said he lived 20miles away. It was actually 1.8 miles away.

Regardless of whether he was a jogger that day per se, I grew up in a neighborhood with new builds popping up, and I remember going to peak inside as a kid. It's not totally unexpected. That's why the owner put up a camera, because people do that. Owner said he feels bad this happened.
