And it's south Georgia, and the killers are Kemp supporters and the older one is a former LEO. The guy was jogging and doing nothing. Unless this gets national attention, nothing will happen during this time.

My friends in Georgia are sad and livid this is still allowed to go on.

We're a bi-racial couple in a 99% white/Asian community and everyone loves us. We wave to everyone and we always pick up and throw away street litter we come across.

So great that this has worked well for you so far! But unless you're somehow positive that this would work out well for any and every black man in any and every mostly white neighborhood in the US, you might want to Stop yourself. And this, of course, says nothing about how a Black Man Running might go over in some of the neighborhoods that are completely white by choice versus the "mostly white" ones where you run.

I really am glad that your experiences have been safe ones. That's not the universal experience though. You know that, right? Right?

We are a black couple in NW DC, and my husband goes on long jogs frequently--like 12 miles at a time throughout DC and MD. I keep telling him not to jog at night. I mean, I know this isn't GA, but still makes me nervous. This poor guy and his family.

Why does he jog at night? It's just not safe, in general, to run at night -- plus mosquitos.
