+1 Even if there was nothing else wrong with him (far from true) the guy hosts a podcast every other frigging day. He’s obviously not spending enough time actually governing or representing his constituents.

If these guys are sick enough of Cruz, how do you think they feel about Trump? I think there's a lot more of this going on behind the scenes. It was one thing when Trump was still putting the Gen. Kelly's of the world in important positions. They are watching the folks Trump is keeping close and they aren't feeling good.

I'm fascinated by this Senate race in maryland because I really though it would be closer than this -- Hogan was a pretty popular governor and he ran far away from Trump.

I also love that the ads for Alsobrooks at this point are literally just Kamala Harris sitting at a desk saying "vote for Angela Alsobrooks -- we're friends!" Those are coattails and I'd love to see a few other Dem Senate candidates ride them to a win.

It works in MD because MD is a blue state and people just need to be reminded that senator is different from governor. It wouldn’t work in any other competitive senate races because those are all in red states where the D needs to run ahead of Harris to win.

+1 Also all the swing state D Senate candidates have been running slightly ahead of Harris (they were running miles ahead of Biden which was one of the things that made clear he had to get out.)
