Also goes for men, how many got your wife preggo so she'd be stuck with you for life?
I ask because my mom is convinced my brother's girlfriend did this. They were broke up because he didn't want to marry her, then she got pregnant, and now they're back together, moved in together, and he plans to marry her soon. She's in her 20s and he's early 30s. So her getting pregnant got her exactly what she wanted. Seems to work, so is it true? |

| You may be in the wrong demographic here, lots of career women on DCUM who didn't marry / have kids until relatively late. Go read the "regret kids" posts about all the women who agreed to have children so their spouses wouldn't leave. |

Alright, I'll admit it. I knew my boyfriend wouldn't commit. He comes from money, so I figured- hey, if I lock him down, I'll be set. So I surreptitiously stopped taking birth control- I just flushed it down the toilet every day instead of taking it. My boyfriend didn't have the faintest clue! When the little blue line came up on the test, I acted devastated- I can't believe it! How could my birth control fail? But he got down on one knee in less than a week, and my future was set. I got the diamond ring, the mansion, and I locked down my man, too. AND I'm banging the pool boy.
Oh wait- that's not me, it's a storyline from a telenovela I saw. But I'm sure SOMEONE fits that, OP! |
