Admit it, how many of you purposely got knocked up so your man would marry you?

Women? Don't want a kid??? Get on a pill or get your tubes tied!!!

I dated a guy for a while and we were genuinely happy. We were taking marriage and long term future. I was on the pill. I still got pregnant. I never had any intention of trapping him in an unhappy marriage. When I got pregnant he completely flipped and claimed that the responsibility was solely on me basically to make sure that the pregnancy doesn't happen. You can probably figure out why we aren't a couple today.

This happens. It's easy to blame the other party than it is to recognize the fact that you took a risk in having sex. It's a super small risk, but you took it. Be a grown-up and deal with it instead of claiming the other party purposely got you knocked up without any proof whatsoever.

I ask because my mom is convinced my brother's girlfriend did this. They were broke up because he didn't want to marry her, then she got pregnant, and now they're back together, moved in together, and he plans to marry her soon. She's in her 20s and he's early 30s. So her getting pregnant got her exactly what she wanted.

Seems to work, so is it true?

could be in this case.

Except on the "didn't actually get a vasectomy" and "didn't pull out in time" thread we learn how entrapment is abuse. But like many things in life, I guess it's only abuse if men do it.

His stupidity in trusting his partner (lesson men: never trust women -- if you do, they'll just call you stupid later for doing so) does not justify her abuse.

Thank you for speaking the truth

Just broke it off with a mid 30's woman who wanted a baby and told her from the beginning I wasn't having anymore. She said she was on the pill until I noticed the pee strips in the bathroom trash. Manipulated - yes, thinking I was going to cave for her - no!

Way to dump that bitch

Is your brother the father? Did the girlfriend hook up with everyone during their breakup?

Just goes to show how crazy she is. Add in the sleep deprivation and stress of parenthood and I foresee that it won't end well.

Oh sure. First we tricked each other into hooking up and becoming a couple. A couple of years later we tricked each other into moving into an apartment together. A few years after that, we tricked each other into buying a house together. A couple of years after that...we tricked each other into having a BC slip up and a surprise pregnancy. Months later we tricked each other into getting married....call us gullible and dumb.

Holy shit, this is the oldest trick in the book for women. I'd say about 25% of the hags on here are guilty. Don't worry honey, you don't have to use a condom because I'm on the pill...NOT!

If you can't trust a person you probably shouldn't have sex with them. You sound like someone who will be happier with a blow up doll you can abuse to your heart's content

STFU u dumb puta. I guess you don't get it. The whole point is that there can be major consequences to trusting a person, which is sad but true.

A blow up doll can't get pregnant. Really, if you don't want to deal with your own BC - a blow up doll is the way to go. Get one.
