If Bob was worth 10M before divorce, does not seem like $ would be that different than very successful overpriced plastic surgeon? Maybe they liked the drinking life, surgeons can't - shakes.

Cash App was just a product of Square — he was CTO and led its development but it belonged to square. Not a founder but high level exec so lots of stock but he probably sold in 2019 during divorce to raise cash rather than the huge run up during pandemic.

His wealth would be from being big into crypto and that’s why it’s easy to hide.

Well SpaceX has not had an exit, and Clubhouse flopped — Figma had a big buy from Adobe for $20B so he should have $10Ms from that deal alone

The point is the Nomenis probably knew he was very well-off given his history of employment and investments. I can totally see Nima trying to hit up Bob for some "investment" in his company(especially with all the liens he had) and Bob probably turned it down (since he was a good businessman). Maybe said something disparaging as Nima kept insisting. That could have enraged Nima (already known to be a hothead) to do what he did. I now think this was money related and not honor or s*x related though Bob's connection with Nima originated through his glamorous sister. My 2 cents.
