Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

Okay people, let's not feed the couple racist trolls on this thread tonight. I suspect we have a cowpoke of kids here, bored and trying to stir up trouble.

I bet at the end of the day it wasn't intended. I think she had an anger problem and she hit her and hurt her and at that point it got ugly! Bottom line one person is dead and the other is in big trouble. Does it really matter what color they are?

I agree with you that there is no need to start a race riot. But Your speculation about whether it was intended or not doesn't make much sense. I mean, she slit her throat!

They said forensic AND physical. Maybe it was something belonging to Brittany? Like whatever she claimed to have left in the store, or her keys or something. I can't imagine what she would have left behind that would have been an indicator that she was in the car (other than forensic DNA, etc.) I hate to say it, but she seems to have been pretty level headed about trying to cover her tracks--tying herself up, roughing herself up, moving the car, making footprints with size 14 shoes, claiming one of the men was 5'3"... All of those things, btw, will get her nailed on a first degree murder charge.

What could you possibly argue about that would make you kill your co-worker?

My DH speculated that Murray could have discovered that Norwood was embezzling.

Yeah but a couple years in prison and repayment for embezzlement vs life in prison for murder. Not very smart.

No, it's worse. She probably would have only gotten PROBATION for embezzlement (since I'm guessing she doesn't have a felony record to get hired at lululemon). And, no, I don't think she's gonna meet the legal definition of insane, no matter how f***'d up this whole thing was.

This woman did not have her own weapons. She used store tools to kill this woman. She could have punched her because she was angry and that provoked an entirely different situation than what she was planning on. She could have a REALLY bad anger problem and they were both strong personalities. Hard to know until we have more info. She did take the money though according to police.

how does anyone know her throat was slit?

I thought she died from blunt force trauma. Does that include slitting her throat? That's really an injury with deep personal issues involved. Or maybe she needed to kill her somehow and couldn't strangle her and didn't have another weapon.

Agree but the police said they believe they came back after closing up for the night.

I'm pretty sure that can be confirmed with the security company that the alarm is through. And I'm sure they checked phone records. Or "LUDS," as they call them on the crime shows

The police also said both women were sexually assaulted but they were just repeating Norwood's story. I am guessing they never left the store.

I don't think that we know for sure that she did not have a weapon with her, do we?

Doesn't make sense that the size shoe Lululemon has for people to wear while having their pants hemmed is a size 14- most shoppers there are women

NO they have not released those details. She very well could have brought in a hammer or crow bar but they did not say. Remember they have not released all evidence.

Jayna's parents must be so relieved that she was never raped, at least.

She was trying to support her claim that one of the male assailants was 6 feet tall.
