Blazer + Tee + Jeans

Anonymous
Is this still fashionable? I remember a few years ago skinny jeans and a graphic tee with a black blazer and heels was really popular. Could you pull the look off with boyfriend jeans, flats , white tee and a navy blazer? Cute? Young? Dated?

Classic style

Yes, that sounds good. But where do find a white tee nowadays that isn't see-through?

Yes. Looks great.

This look is very dated. If you have other clothing options, go with those. - Publicist PP

Very dated, or not trendy? I think it's classic. Not necessarily young, but nice jeans with a fitted t and a blazer can look great if it's tailored well and has shoes/jewelry to accessorize.

Not seeing the graphic tee w/ black blazer aspect. Maybe with navy blazer with gold accents (nautical-ish).

It's true that the look is very 90s. Google Helen Hunt in "Mad About You". I lived through them the first time and this was totally the look I aspired to.

However, aren't the 90s back in now? I think OP might look ok.

OP, don't listen to these idiots. This is a classic look.

If the PPs think it is dated, I'd love for them to fly over to Paris and inform women there, about 90% of whom wear this combo regularly.

Kate Middleton pulls off this look with a navy blazer -- google Kate Middleton blue blazer

Thanks for your input, PPP. Any alternative look you could suggest? Thank you!

Publicist PP here. I go to Europe for fashion week at least once a year. It doesn't change the fact that this look is dated and it looks like someone is trying too hard to look young and hip but they've missed the memo that the trend is over. There are plenty of cool outfits that OP can wear that look polished and put together that will look a million times better than this.

OP, I don't know what you own, what your regular style is, or anything about you, so I can't make any specific suggestions that will be helpful to you but the blazer and tee look isn't it.

What's a good look for a short (5ft) fullfigured woman? My style is more trendy than classic. I love heels. Examples of things I have: an a-line leather dress in a neutral color. Suede platform boots with stacked heel. Velvet blazer. Crinoline skirt. Several denim jackets and blazers. Animal print wedges. Denim dress with pussybow. Leather Obi belts in various colors.
