Blazer + Tee + Jeans

+1 me too.

The question of whether jeans+T+blazer is a dated look would never have occurred to me, but looking at the pics others have posted, it's obvious Publicist PP is right.

I love fur. Fur vests, etc. please tell me if this look is dated.

I think the problem is with the wording. 2015 and 2014, at the end of 2016, isn't really dated. The majority of peeps don't follow monthly changing fashion trends. There is more than enough proof out there that people in fashion are still wearing this look.

So while the look isn't the current trend, it is not at all dated, like say, shoulder pads, chokers, or stone washed jeans are. Or belly shirts IGN super low rise jeans.

Update the style of blazer, jeans, and tee, and it still works.

Not sure why not publicist is getting so worked up that a few people disagree with her. Fashion is fluid and not at all monolithic. It seems like she should know that.

Polite disagreement is one thing. Being rude and nasty is another. Just like IRL.

I'm the publicist pp - for everyone who thinks I was on here sock puppeting (likely the same accuser as the other day, who was proven wrong), I literally just woke up so no, yet again, no sock puppeting is going on. If you're so hell-bent on this issue, like I said the other day, go post in website feedback. Or do you need me to do it again for you?

For those asking why I'm worked up, you obviously haven't seen the hate-filled posts that Jeff has deleted. Consider yourselves lucky.

It's clear there are at least one or two unhinged trolls on here which is why I'm done giving any advice. What started out as a fun distraction for me is now just nothing but annoying, irritating, and at times upsetting.

I really hope some of you received a few therapy sessions for Christmas because it's obvious you need them to work on your anger issues and your feelings of less than.

To the idiot who keeps posting pics to try and refute me - Alexa Chung is in a tank, not a damn t shirt. And the woman before her is rocking a blouse under that blazer. Again, NOT a damn t shirt. To the other idiot who keeps harping that this is DCUM so my advice is not valid, certain people are obviously asking for my advice so it is valid. But you do you and continue being a frump. Because it's obvious you can't stay out of threads that aren't actually meant for you.

On that note, I bid you all adieu.

Whoa. Publicist. You have gone off the rails a bit. That last post screams sleep deprivation or headache or something.

You're splitting hairs with the tee versus blouse versus tank.

Why can't you just admit that your use of dated was a bit strong. You could have Said that the look ( blazer and jeans) could be updated with a blouse or tank. But you made it seems as if anyone wearing this look is wearing a peasant dress square heels and a choker.

I am sorry if other people were rude to you and some other thread, but this whole reaction is a little bit over-the-top and ornery.

I am not a frump. I I hadn't posted until about 11:15. I am relatively fashion forward especially for the DC area. But your advice especially in this thread is a little over the top. Someone wanted to know what to do with the Blazer tee jeans and if they could work with it and you dismissed them summarily. Other people pointed out that for once, you are apparently not on target.

I defended you and said that you are not a sock puppet, but calling people who disagree with you a frump isnt making your case either. Geez

Ironically, chokers are back in style.... not that I think I can pull it off now as a 30-something.

That is what my dd asked for Christmas. Looks cute on her.

I hate chokers as much as I hate ankle straps on shoes. Big boobs, short legs = no bueno

Anyway ... Publicist PP, if you're still here ... what does one wear in place of a blazer? I'm always cold

Weren't you reading? A satin bomber! Must be on top of all the trends! So that you can have more landfill later!

Thanks a lot, folks. Why do some people feel a need to be so contrarian for no good reason?
Anonymous
Who is bring contrarian?

I got the Home Alone reference. But the satin bomber reminds me of 5th grade basketball team warm up jackets from the 70s. I'm sticking to my black blazer.

Dated. Yes, circa 1985.

I still like it, but would never wear it in a gazillion years.
