| Can anyone provide me with some novice advice for a trip to this place? I have an almost 4-year old. Any deals on the rooms? Tips for activities/add-ons there? |

| All of the food there is really disgusting. Bring snacks or even pack some sandwiches for lunch - there is a nice sized mini fridge in the room. Not sure there are great deals to be had on the rooms but they do run specials from time to time. Your child will probably not be interested in some of the add ons they have but there is a free storytime every evening that my young kids loved and they enjoyed coloring in the gift shop (free) and just playing in the pools/water park. |

| Go for only 1 night..it is enough time and you wont stray to other pricey activities. Bring your own towels. They run out and they are terrible. Don't eat there. IHOP is right next door and Chic Fillet. They say you can not bring snacks into the park but everyone does. |

| If you can, go for a random middle of the week overnight in 2017. 1 night is fine, but 2 will also be fun. There will be plenty of room deals if you are patient and willing to go on off days- wait until January so the Christmas rush is over. For one night, the food is fine. For two nights, plan on going out. So the only advice I have is don't go on a weekend or holiday! |

| I went with a 3.5 year old last year. He (and his older sister) LOVED It - we spent a lot of time in the waterpark. He also liked the bowling so I recommend that. I wish that I had brought more bottles of water and small food items for the room. I wish that I had brought our own beach towels too, and a bottle of wine. |

Go on a weekday in the winter.Check their deals page - https://www.greatwolf.com/williamsburg/deals The food isn't the best but it's not horrible either. We went in the winter and I always appreciated not having to worry about young kids, cold, and coats during my time there. |

| This might be a silly question, but is it really warm inside the water park? Both the water and the air temp? One of mine is completely adverse to the cold, so it'd be a total bust if it's not warm enough there. |

| In regard to the warmth - NO! The air is warm, the water is decent, but things get REALLY cold if you get your hair wet. My family really likes Great Wolf, we've gone a handful of times and will go again, and my only problem is the fact that I never want to get in the water because I'm a wimp and I know I'll get cold. On extremely cold days, it's awful. When it's mild outside (45ish) it's tolerable. I think it has to do with the slides that go outside of the building and then return inside. |

| A lot of people complain about the cost, but from my experience, a day at a water park is about >$50 per person, and if you add that to the cost of a hotel room, it kind of evens out the cost |

WOW! I thought for sure they would manage the temperature inside a place like that much better! Good to know. We may hold off until April then. I was planning a trip with friends. |

| I went last year during winter break and didn't find the water park cold at all. I'm a wimp in cold but didn't find Great Wolf to be cold. |

| We went in October, when it was fairly chilly outside, and the waterpark was perfectly warm. I hate GWF, but my kids love it! |
