A couple years back they were holding games for a school whose football field wasn’t accessible. They can hold games there.

So overton makes part of his salary that freedom players get access to the weights/equipment and his player elite or whatever it’s called get to use the fields. And maybe go is focus is basketball for teams and just training for football- the 8th grade thing would match with that.

Wouldn’t call him less talented than Vetter. I think Vetter may have been wiser, but he had a lot more on his side.

And Harker Prep was a real school so that’s not a good comparison either. It’s more like Gillion Academy which advertised something similar, but they haven’t produced any high level teams yet.

There is a high level program in PG county that has highly competitive programs for students taking online classes too, but it’s run through a church. I think it’s Shabach. There are probably more in PG as well because I keep hearing about new private high school teams over there.

I'm surprised STJ wants the liability with her. Moreover, why do they want a "team chaplain." Fact: Many non Christians (which I doubt she really is a Christian) use STJ. Why would they think it's ok to have an "official " Christian chaplain? I suppose the same reason Hayfield did.

You’re talking about Mount Zion prep.

Shabach has a physical school up until 8th grade. For high school, it’s basically for home school kids whose parents can pay a fee to get their kids on the schools athletic teams, and the basketball team is competitive. The last couple years, their basketball teams were much better though than they are now though. They seem to be falling off. Also for some reason they changed the schools name to Prince George’s Christian Academy.

Mount Zion is a day and boarding school. They even take post grad kids. My son had some summer league games there and I wasn’t impressed with the campus.
