Hayfield Football Coach Fired

Note that the D1 signees were announced back at the first signing day.

Overton's kid's signing day was for D3 VMI and he couldn't even hack it there. Pretty unimpressive, no?

You're unimpressed by kids going on to college to play sports AND get an education? That's really sad. I hope you don't have children.

I am not impressed by West Virginia State and Bowie State. I am impressed by MIT and the P4 offers.

All the people who let Overton cheat --including Gatehouse staff, Reid, the principal, etc--got away scott-free.

There was a post about it a few weeks ago. He got into a physical altercation with a disabled teacher in front of students. He was placed on admin leave before winter break and hasn't been back since.

+1. All of the people who were complicit in this should be fired. I hope the employees who did the right thing and got punished have retained legal counsel.

Hayfields former basketball coach—who lasted one year— is currently suspended from his current job due to a physical altercation, so I’d say the whole of Hayfield’s athletic department needs a good cleansing.

really! tell us more.

Got it...you're not impressed by HBCU's. It says a lot about you.

I can't stand Overton and his cronies but you posting about his kid is just as bad as anything they ever did. Your posts should be removed and pull yourself out of the mud.

Why would students protest the removal of a coach who made such racist comments? Not a good look.

God, Overton's acolytes are no different than Trump supporters, and like Trump supporters, they don't see it. The lack of self-awareness is stunning. It is sad so many of them chose to have children.

Very poor analogy considering Overton's acolytes are black. Fixed it: God, Overton's acolytes are no different than Democrats, and like Democrats, they don't see it. The lack of self-awareness is stunning. It is sad so many of them chose to have children.

lol. So the Overton haters are Trumper’s it seems. No surprise

Quite the opposite but it isn't surprising that someone who leads with "lol" doesn't see it. Trumpers - spend all day every day trying to find scapegoats rather than realizing their own failings. Overton supporters...no different.

So the Trumpers support Overton?

Support is not the right word. Narcissistic people tolerate each other if they think there's something to gain from the relationship. They'll sell their own grandmothers out in a heartbeat once the wheels fall off and they need someone to blame.

And that’s precisely why it was a good idea to part ways with the South County coach.

Typo-you mean the Hayfield coach, right?

No the Hayfield coach didn’t publicly say anything desparaging or racist about about a high school team he couldn’t beat. The South County coach is the one that needed to go

Coach P did not say anything racist. Overton supporters are very consistent in being allergic to the truth.

No - I’m impressed by the QB to Morehouse. But when you see everything through a racial prism you can draw wrong conclusions.

Yeah they should appreciate being humiliated and disrespected. That’s part of the system of white supremacy.

The generations of inbreeding that it must have taken to result in someone as comically stupid as you…

That’s more popular in the Appalachian Mountains. Seems like you are trying to gaslight and deflect from the truth.

so his kid wasn’t a good football player.

Perhaps he was a poor student. You need to make grades too.
