I've never been to the St James. How many football-sized indoor fields do they have?

Less controversial than “team chaplain” and probably why her Facebook now just says “coach. It would be interesting to know who is paid and who is not and how paid, but did see her post that the offer from STJ was for Overton and his entire staff so off they all go.

Lost in all this (besides why the principal still has a job) is the question of who is going to play this sham school? This will end up like Eastern Christian Academy and I for one cannot wait. Like ECA, some teams might line up to play St. James for a few years, but no decent program will want to be associated with them after a bit. And the St. James doesn't have the obscenely deep-pocketed supporters that ECA had OR the non-profit status.

But at least now Overton and his band of ignorant cheaters have a home.

There's a good article in the Fairfax Times about the move...it demonstrated that Overton cannot even construct a basic sentence and is basically a pathological liar. Direct quote from Overton a couple of days before he left: “There is no job I’m at Hatfield [sic] haven’t been hired for. Or interviewed for St james [sic] job.”

My kid is a Hayfield student. He has classes with some of the I-95 traveling Hayfield players. He said, in general, they aren't good students and are always asking for extra credit to try and keep passing grades.

This TSJ thing is going to be either a disaster, because if they can't keep grades up in class, how will they whilst doing their studies by themselves online? Or, it could be a blessing for them. They have someone else do the work and make good grades for them or the "teachers" simply give them all straight A's.

Their problem will be IF they are accepted into a university for sports. None of these kids are good enough for a program to risk it's reputation and possibly be NCAA sanctioned for cheating to keep them eligible.

Mental Strength Coach is from her Facebook page. She is not on TSJ website but to be fair, it seems they only show the head people on the page. Still I wouldn’t put it past her to have given herself this title.

They will travel to play other private schools, similar to IMG (though it might take a little time to for them to get up to that level.)
