But tort limits are a problem. |
He has a huge family he waa taking care of. What is the value of a life? |
Not if $30k was spent on an attorney. You might still be in jail for this crime if you couldn't afford an competent lawyer (public defenders). |
AND let the girls walk |
| Just announced a plea deal with minimal consequences on the girls. What a joke. Welcome to San Francisco everyone. Soon we will look as devastated as the Bronx in the 1970s. |
|
I can't believe they let them walk... thats bad even by DC standards. They don't even get a "jail like setting" for the few years they will be away from society...
Wow. Just wow. |
Actually not a bad idea. Mailing them to every female 9-55. Adding an extra medications bin for disposed medications to each household/apartment complex. Gives USPS a boost too. |
What matters is that they are away and people are a little safer for a few years. |
Yes but I also agree with the social worker who posted about section 8 people - BC needs to be VERY easily accessible. Lack of planning capabilities, poor impulse control - many people won’t go and renew prescriptions or fill out paperwork. |
Are you going to force people to use it? Are we going to place social workers in every bedroom? |
|
What kind of judge is that? Apparently, the lack of feelings is not exclusive to the girls.
|
|
We have the whole action recorded. There is not a single doubt about what happened. Those girls clearly showed they are very dangerous and they have not a single drop of compassion on their blood. It was not the first time. WHAT ELSE DOES THE JUDGE NEED? Isn't anybody responsible for this crime? Where are their guardians? Will they be punished at least?
Are we living in a Western movie? If this is the kind of example the criminals will get, I am buying a gun right now! If the law will only protect criminals, who will protect us? |
Where are you reading this? I have done a search online (wtop, nbc4, WaPo) and can’t find anything. |
The Daily Mail story that's going around is just a rehash of last week's WaPo story where they said a plea deal was in the works but not completed yet. There has been nothing new in this case. Next hearing isn't for another couple of weeks. |
Because they need you to stop paying attention. |
