This was at 4:45 PM. Victim fought back so they tazed him. He was then dragged to death. Weather was pretty good yesterday, so I suppose that Charles Allen would say that they were looking for air conditioning. |

| geez that’s awful - and in broad daylight! the victim sounds like he was an immigrant uber or delivery driver, probably supporting a big family in virginia. and it boggles the mind to think of what kind of environment the girls live in. |

Is there a connection with the other carjacking that happened not too long ago that involved a 12 yr old kid?
I bet car jacking is an initiation for one of the neighborhood gangs. Hence the upticks in these crimes. |

The problem with carrying a gun would have been the public spinning of this story had the perpetrators been shot. You always hear the trite "better to be judged by 12 than carried by six", but had the WaPo headline been "Uber driver shoots and kills two girls aged 13 and 15 walking to the Metro Station", it would have been impossible for the victim to have not been publicly condemned in DC.
DCUM in particular would eviscerate anybody ever for using a gun to defend themselves. But here is the alternative and we will probably still trip over ourselves looking for excuses for this type of behavior. I mean, if they had been in school, they would have been working on homework instead of cruising for Uber drivers. |

I hope this actually sticks and they don't end up back out on the loose in a week or so. Interesting that one is from MD and one from DC, wonder if the charges/punishments will be the same.

| This happened in Charles Allen's ward. He has not publicly commented on it. His silence is incredibly damning, considering how consistently he goes out of his way to excuse violent criminals for their behavior. |

The man who was killed by these girls was an immigrant from Pakistan who leaves behind a wife and two adult children here and an adult son and four grandchildren in Pakistan.
