LOL.

What you call "pick apart," rational and educated people call critical reading and reasoning.

This is what is happening here.......LOL!

Wrong. My opinion of Mueller hasn't changed, but there are enough question marks in Barr's document and any action against transparency cause more harm.

Just like questions to Trump during election debates: you will accept the results of the election, won’t you!

Who is discrediting the report? No one knows what it says.

I would say I am more surprised than disappointed by the Barr letter. I am of course relieved that there is an innocent explanation for the extraordinary behavior of numerous people in the Trump campaign and an innocent explanation for their numerous and repeated lies about this extraordinary behavior. I trust that Mueller and his crack team did a fair and thorough investigation and I can’t wait to learn what they discovered that could explain the behavior of people like Don jr, National Security Advisor Flynn, Campaign manager Manafort, personal attorney Cohen and long standing associate Stone

The report needs to be released. Keeping it in the dark goes against how reports of other special counsel reports have been treated. Additionally, Congress and the taxpaying, American citizens who fund the government are entitled -yes, entitled- to see it. Period.

I don't need to parse out any words of Barr's ridiculous statement. He said it himself- Trump is not exonerated and no finding was made on obstruction. So you can crow all you want. But the multiple indictments stemming from this investigation -all people close to the President and his campaign- plus the words from Barr's "report" make it clear that this is anything but a clear and absolute exoneration of the President. And anyone who views it otherwise is a sheep of this administration who is incapable or unwilling to view it with an unbiased eye. AND, those same people would be screaming bloody murder if the report was on a Democratic president and not released. You know it.

Further, this doesn't address the numerous instances of conflicts of interest, nepotism, Hatch Act violations, etc. that we already know exist and haven't been investigated.) And which the administration is refusing to comply with. This is despite the fact that Republicans in Congress investigated Clinton and Obama relentlessly . . . so spare me the crocodile tears. This administration has already had more indictments in two years than Obama had in 8. That tells me more investigations are needed, not less.

And now R's are calling for apologies. That made me almost wet my pants laughing. I'll give you your apology AFTER you apologize to both Clintons and Obama for all of your sham investigations. Hillary withstood 11 hours of testimony and 7 or so investigations on Benghazi and there was NOTHING resulting from that. So, you first . . . .

And, there's nothing to parse. Barr's own letter makes it clear that this is not an exoneration of the President. And no findings on obstruction. So, i'm not parsing anything. I'm waiting for the full report which absolutely needs to be released.

From Julian Zelizer, American History Professor at Princeton:

“This week is starting to remind me of the 2000 presidential election. This is what I was thinking.

Republicans declare victory before the results are actually in.

Republicans count on the national media to quickly repeat their conclusion. Pack journalism gets to work.

When serious concerns emerge about the results, Republicans stand by the initial declaration of victory.

Meanwhile, charge that Democrats are being “sore losers” by asking legitimate questions about what is going on.

The GOP then tries to force an ending to the controversy by running out the clock.

After the Supreme Court stops the Florida recount in December 2000, Republicans act like there is a clear mandate and national consensus about the results. Never look back.

Does this all bring back some memories?”

No one is disbelieving Mueller’s report, which no one has seen.

Barr providing his own summary is unprecedented.

Just a reminder that Stone, Don Jr, Cohen, Javanka, and others that we think werenpaty of the campaign were not part of the Campaign. Heck, Manafort, depending on how it was defined, might not be included in "Campaign".

Similarly, every single Russian we've heard about: Vesilisjya (sic), Deripaska, Guccifer and the Internet Research Agency is not.part of the "Russian Government".

Barr ain't stupid.

This! Completely agree.

No collusion, no conspiracy, no coordination.
