The truth is that nobody really knows anyone else and what they are or aren't capable of. I think everyone is capable of some pretty unimaginable/out of character stuff given the right/wrong collision of circumstances. Bad people can do some incredibly beautiful and kind things and good people can do some pretty terrible stuff. People are complicated. People hide things from even the people they live with. If they were involved in swinging or swapping or whatever, that certainly does create a circumstance in which people might be driven to something they might not do under normal circumstances. Time will tell. |
What evidence is that? |
Yep. The husband is under investigation for possibly killing 2 people. The investigation was not quickly closed. The AP is still in the home. More will be made clear in time. It may be exculpatory and it may well not. Surely Christine's friends would want LE to get this right. And there is the well being and safety of a young child to consider if the DH did harm his wife. So, all possibilities are still on the table. And they do seem to have had an unconventional sex life. The strident nay sayers have to come to terms with that. LE has stated the parties were known to one another. |
Based on what? There is absolutely nothing about the Banfields that indicates they had an unconventional sex life. You've been on here saying this for months. If you have actual knowledge have you talked to the police? Or do you just have an overactive imagination? |
It isn't just one person saying strait out that there was a sexual relationship of some kind between at the very least Joe Ryan and Christine. Many people have said it in many ways here. The police did back this up that all parties knew each other which means before the morning of the murders. People protesting the idea of some lone defender of Joe knows nothing and watches too many crime shows, is crazy, or has an overactive imagination and its another way to try to discredit those who believe that Joe did not kill Christine. The investigation remains open because the police believe it needs to be. I understand you don't want to believe this man killed his wife and this man but his daughter, people in his life in the future, the family and friends that loved Joe, and society at large, deserve the full investigation. That wasn't me above who you responded to by the way. |
Agree with all of this- I'm also a DP and not the one PP is responding to. |
This will go trial and I believe “Banfield supporters” want any positive mention of Joe to be followed with questions about his character. Christine Joe and the child deserve justice. I hope more of JNRs friends and family speak out about the kind of person he was |

I hope more of JNRs friends and family speak out about the kind of person he was I will speak about who Joe was some. He did not own or use knives, or guns and he did not believe in violence against women. Joe Ryan was a very bright person. He loved his family, he loved his rescue dogs, he loved working out, eating healthy, following politics, and social topics, he was very liberal, believed in being environmental, loved watching documentaries, loved larping, playing video games, he loved eating sushi, he loved animals, hiking, he believed in human rights passionately, he believed in equality with race, gender, and income equality. He spoke openly and often about his strong beliefs socially and politically. He believed children and old people deserved care and respect. He took care of sick people in his life, he would be the first person to fly in or come to you if you had a surgery or got sick, and stay with you, feed you, and take care of you. He was in your corner if you needed him. He was not typical in that he didn't care about status, or the "normal" things. He was exactly the sort of non conformist that lived in ways others might not understand. If you took the time to understand him you would find he was a loving gentle person. He was funny, he was creative, he loved cartoons and animation. He liked to paint little figurines, and 3d print stuff out that were silly. He was sentimental and if you gave him a gift he might keep it for twenty years on top of his dresser. He worked many jobs over the years, he was a farmer, he worked at a homeless shelter, a life guard, helping autistic children, construction work, home care giver, bouncer, gym employee, and other jobs. he is missed greatly, when you lose someone you cared about you realize how much you really loved them. There is a little bit about him... just a tiny bit... his life was taken and those that really knew Joe know the truth... he needs justice and so does Christine. |
Is the husband currently working or is he on leave? |

If he was who you described, it’s scary to think that the child is in the care of a possible perpetrator/s. thank you, and it is scary to think the child is with people that murdered her mother and blamed it on another. it sounds like full premeditated murder, and conspiracy to murder. |

I am sure there are many people posting who do know each other and many who do not. Thank you for standing for what you believe is right and I am sorry for your loss! |
Is someone on here FriendofJoe that posted on Websleuths? What post was pulled by moderators? |
