Can’t remember the name but there’s a nice hotel just off Dupont Circle that has a nice lobby breakfast. They also had a wine reception every night. There’s also complimentary light fare at the Hotel Dauphine Saint-Germain in Paris, and Solis Lough Eske in Ireland…do you just not travel much?

I don’t wear pajamas. I sleep in joggers and a tshirt. Can I go to hotel breakfast in my “pajamas”?

“Joggers,” LOL.

I’m personally not showering just to get some coffee and and a roll at a residence inn. I’m more offending when the guy in front of me asks for 20 hand cooked breakfasts to go.

NO. Just no.

We would bring our baby to the hotel breakfast in her pajamas because we were typically the very first people at breakfast, up early with a small kid, and if she was messy it was an easy change into fresh clothes after. But after she turned 2 we got her dressed every time, same as us.

DP. What’s wrong with joggers? I sleep in them too. And often wear then on road trips.

+1 and I've never seen someone in pjs in a hotel breakfast area

Do adults wear actual “pajamas” though? Doesn’t everyone just wear sporty casual - sweats, joggers, shorts, t-shirt, etc?

I don’t agree with pjs in a hotel lobby, but there is nothing trashy about staying at a Hampton Inn. The fact that you would say that says a lot more about you than someone who stays at Hampton Inns.

I do! Silk pajama sets are my guilty pleasure.

Um, yes. Have you never been shopping? Have you never read a magazine?

I would wear whatever I'd be comfortable wearing to check mail/pick up a package/do laundry. For me that means yoga pants and a tee shirt or hoodie with a bra. I would not wear a robe, but I might consider PJ pants.
