I was in an urgent care last night with a sick kid, and the provider said he's seeing a LOT of colds. They're testing for COVID and results are negative.

My kid stopped his immunosuppressants and ended up spending 4 months in PICU, and never got off oxygen afterwards. DP posters. We have to people with crohns in our family and the docs said to time the vax around medicine dates (injections for us).

Different doctors have different opinions on this and sometimes even the same doctor will give different patients different medical advice on this. There is not a single medical opinion about how to approach vaccination in the immunocompromised.

I'm not one of those PP's but even if insurance pays, they are usually passing those costs along to everyone through higher premiums and co-pays down the road. I think that's what the PP's are talking about regarding possibly unnecessary tests.

Your logic is flawed.
People aren’t concerned about rising premiums or taxes due to covered or free covid testing. Not at all.
People are very much concerned with restrictions being imposed again if our case counts start rising.
But it’s like anything else you avoid. If it’s there, it’s there, and if you just refuse to find out, it will be too late to fix it when you do find out. The only way to avoid another 2020 is to keep testing.

I just saw someone on Facebook lamenting their Trumper friend who caught and died of covid last week...unvaccinated and took a trip to Mexico, daily social media posts, never a mask.

I just can’t with these people. I got vaccinated, I’m not also wearing a mask so I can pretend to care about people who won’t do either.
