The funny thing is that we will never know how many people actually get the new variant since the CDC is only counting positives for vaccinated individuals if they die or are hospitalized, also a “positive” for a vaccinated individual is recorded after 28 cycles of the PCR test, according to the CDC direction which is quite low. The CDC is purposely trying to limit the data before we even get it. Why?
Because the tests can pick up dead virus in vaccinated individuals, that has absolutely no effect on them, nor is enough to be transmissible.
I'm sick. Our clinic refused to test me because I was vaccinated. So, we will not have accurate numbers. I have many of the symptoms.
The same happened to my husband. At Cvs the nurse actually asked him why he was there getting tested if he had already been vaccinated. 😤
Who is paying for all these tests you guys insist on after being vaccinated? You think they're free because you aren't paying out of pocket? Guess what? We're all paying for them. So just stop.
Whoa Nelly. You all right over there? Our insurance is paying for it thank you very much. We’re not looking for a free test. We’re looking to not spread Covid if he had it. Fever, chills, body aches.
Thank you. Ignore the PPs pretending to care about healthcare costs, when they just want to avoid **knowing** about covid transmission, for whatever weird set of reasons.
I'm not one of those PP's but even if insurance pays, they are usually passing those costs along to everyone through higher premiums and co-pays down the road. I think that's what the PP's are talking about regarding possibly unnecessary tests.
Would you also recommend everyone actively avoid seeing the doctor for a “free” well visit? now fully covered courtesy of Obama)? What about a mammogram? Routine childhood immunizations? Your logic is flawed. People aren’t concerned about rising premiums or taxes due to covered or free covid testing. Not at all. People are very much concerned with restrictions being imposed again if our case counts start rising. But it’s like anything else you avoid. If it’s there, it’s there, and if you just refuse to find out, it will be too late to fix it when you do find out. The only way to avoid another 2020 is to keep testing.
