She's not stepping down. If she was she would have followed the other European monarchs and did it in her 70s. She'll die on the throne.

George obviously isn’t and I would assume the older ones have both doses and the younger have at least one. But I can’t see how George can go if covid protocols limit to 15.

Operation Forth Bridge sounds a lot less dramatic when everyone is already stuck at home anyway.

It's supposed to:

- Cancel the Queen's appearances for 8 days (nothing new)
- Stop laws from being formed for 8 days
- Country goes in mourning for 30 days (already happening for the 100K+ dead due to pandemic)
- Have Prince Phillip laid in-state at Westminister Hall for public viewing (not happening)
- Public books of condolences (not happening)
- Funeral with Commonwealth heads of states and foreign monarchies (not happening)

I wouldn’t be so sure. She might enjoy the spotlight. If they show up together, they will be the story. Plus, she has very few opportunities to wear a fascinator.

Yeah and the Queen Mother's husband died in his 50s. She survived another 50 years just fine.
