I know Marie-Chantal is PISSED. Phillip is the last remaining reigning royal of the Greek line. (Aside from the former Queen of Spain) This would have been her time to shine in a funeral with royal pizazz. But she can't go because of the lockdown restrictions.

There's no way Camilla, Kate, and Sophie won't be there. |
| It's kind of interesting and bizarre living in the UK right now. The royal family isn't going anywhere any time soon here, that's for sure. |
Philip was reportedly close to both Harry and William. My guess is that he probably got a kick out of some of Harry's antics as a teen/young man and that he may have been less judgmental than others in the Royal Family about these things. |
That's what I think too. But if they add them in and Harry/Zara/Eugenie - its a perfect 15. But I don't think you can fairly ask Beatrice, Eugenie, Zara, and Harry to then attend without their spouses. Especially Eugenie and Zara who just gave birth. |
Oops - forgot Peter Phillips - Anne's other child. |
You missed Peter Philips, Anne's son and the oldest grandson. |
| Wow I can't imagine Harry not attending his grandfather's funeral! |
Harry HAS to go--with or (preferably) without Meghan. |
Why would he be? He was very complimentary of his grandparents and seems to still be in touch with QEII. |
| This couldn’t have been a surprise to anyone in the family, once he left the hospital that this was an expected outcome to happen sooner rather than later. And in the midst of this, grandson goes on Oprah to air his grievances with the family. Just Wow! An interview with Oprah surely could have waited. |
Princess Anne looks good in this photo. Her face reflects her age, but she looks both elegant and svelte. |
I bet he comes without Meghan. Can she even still travel given how far along she is in her pregnancy? Plus I doubt she wants to see his family and they don’t want to see her. |
I don't think so. Wife in third trimester, pandemic where the UK variant is especially virulent, limited mourner guest list, and his home state of CA doesn't open up to vaccine everyone 16 and over until April 15th. Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Thursday that the nation’s most populous state would start vaccinating anyone 50 and over in a week and the population more broadly — except those under 16, for whom vaccines have not yet been authorized — on April 15. https://apnews.com/article/california-vaccinate-16-older-in-3-weeks-3e33679ef4514fe6b7ebaf35c96aebb6 |
