How much COVID weight have you gained?

Gained 59 lbs

Gained 2 but started lifting heavy weights in June and have been eating more protein than usual. Thin already so whatever.

Lost 23. Started with a weight loss challenge, then turned to Noom to keep it going.

And exercising less - made me realize how many calories I burned just going through my normal day (lots of walking/moving around at work) in the Before Times. Now I just sit on Zooms all day.

Do you think others can notice the difference 5 lbs makes, or only you? I'm 5'3" and people can't seem to tell if I've gained or lost until I get to 10+ pounds either way, which for me is already 1 size difference in pants. And I mean my kids, DH, my friends -- people who see me pretty often. I'm only 3" taller than you, maybe that does mean that the weight is more distributed on me, but it is hard to picture 5 lbs making that much of a difference in a 5' person?

I'm 5'3" also and have the same 10+lbs to play with. However, I think this has alot to do with your natural shape. When I gain, I gain all over. An apple shape might gain it primarily in the midsection.

I am 5ft. I've gained 10 and was 8-10 over ideal. With the kids at home and both of us working, we get less time to work out. No equipment either. Running when we can but it is no 1hr routine. So, I'd love to swap?! Just for a different set of ugh. Hang in there!

A bunch of midgets in this thread

25 and was 20 over to start, so now I am a real fatty. So depressing.

On the bright side, I realized it, and started dieting last Monday. 5 pounds gone (probably all the Thanksgiving pie I ate), 4 to go!

Gained 12 lbs, was up 6 to begin with. Didn't seriously change my diet until this week. I had lost 3-4 lbs recently only to add them back over Thanksgiving weekend (also enjoyed the pie!).

I gained about 40 and i feel terrible about it.
I am very tall, and had spent a couple years losing that weight.
Then we had some major, major unfathomable losses and stress and here i am.

I’m 5’10 — gained 25 lbs. went from 160 to 185. Have spent the past 3 weeks avoiding alcohol, sugar and tracking calories. Have lost 8 lbs. but have a long way to go.

I randomly lost 4 pounds in June, then gained that back plus 2 in September/October, now back to my starting covid weight.

I gained 10 pounds last year after my husband’s sudden death and finally feel ready to get that off and be back to my normal (past 10+ years) size. I was a weightclass athlete for 18 years so cutting weight is nothing new to me, but my brain really doesn’t want to play ball this time around. In addition to the scale, I’m using the dress I wore to my husband’s funeral as my metric for if I’ve reached that size.

I'm 5'5. I went from 110 to 120 lbs. Trying to lose 5 lbs by February.

7 lbs.
But I am 5'2" so 7 lbs is a lot for me.

I hate it.

I started the pandemic about 10 lbs over my usual and then gained 5-7 lbs between March and June. None of my clothes fit anymore (5’4” so extra 15 lbs is 2 dress size difference) I started Noom in June and lost 15 lbs by the end of August. Maintaining now by generally eating just 2 meals a day, no desserts, and trying to limit alcohol to one drink a day.
