How much COVID weight have you gained?

Gained maybe 5-7 pounds between Mar and July, and hit obese BMI. Since July I’ve lost 30 pounds and am a couple pounds away from normal BMI. 5’2”

I think it is going to be so crazy when we return to normal life and see people for the first time. Some people are going to be much bigger.

I've lost 20. I gained weight after Trump inauguration. Couldn't keep going in that direction. I turned 50 this year. Had to do an intervention on myself.

It's hard. I'm a stress eater.

Good luck.

20. Working on getting it off now. Currently down almost 5lbs. I was overweight to begin with, but I always put everyone before myself in general. Finally making time for myself. It's been good.

Gained 5 and then lost 20. Super happy with myself. I quit drinking too, which helped I think. I am only 5 feet.

I was going down a shame spiral and depressed. It was pretty much 100% nutrition.

I was 10 lbs over when it started and I gained probably 10.

About 10 over at the start and gained 20 from stress eating. I pulled it together after Halloween and now have lost 10. I'm trying to be realistic so I probably can lose another 10 but not 20, because this winter especially I will need holiday foods and fun cocktails by the fire!

And exercising less - made me realize how many calories I burned just going through my normal day (lots of walking/moving around at work) in the Before Times. Now I just sit on Zooms all day.

Do you think others can notice the difference 5 lbs makes, or only you? I'm 5'3" and people can't seem to tell if I've gained or lost until I get to 10+ pounds either way, which for me is already 1 size difference in pants. And I mean my kids, DH, my friends -- people who see me pretty often. I'm only 3" taller than you, maybe that does mean that the weight is more distributed on me, but it is hard to picture 5 lbs making that much of a difference in a 5' person?

Lost 20, started to see some of it come back and worked to stop the slide. I have been able to get in a bit more exercise and watch my snacking. Fewer meals out for lunch and dinner and I am eating better.

Wow, you guys are good. I have gained 30+ on a 5’7” frame. So much work stress. (I lead technology integration for a school. It’s been unrelenting stress since March.) Nome of my clothes fit. I feel horrible. Yet I keep stress eating. It’s my most reliable (yet destructive) coping mechanism.

My weight is unchanged. I work out of the home 3 days a week. And on my days off, I’m doing a zoom ballet class in the mornings and then either a hike or weight training in the afternoon.
