How much COVID weight have you gained?

Just trying to make myself feel better. 20 pounds for me and I’m short so it’s awful. I’m trying to get it off but it’s hard.

8-10 lbs. I’m 5’4.

I have lost 10 but I was. Pudgemuffin to begin with. I eat when I’m happy so my loss is a stress sad loss.

About 10 lbs. WFH has been a disaster for my snacking habits. And, although I expected exercise to be easier since I could run at lunch break or something, it really hasn't - work has been busy, there's no division between work time and personal time anymore. I go straight from my computer to making dinner. Except for when I'm helping the kids with virtual schoolwork. But I'm at the limit of what I can gain without buying new pants, so I'm making an effort to stop it here, even if I don't reverse it quite yet!

I have maintained my weight. I exercise more but I also drink and eat more I guess

I think I probably gained around 15 pounds - my "fat" jeans were kind of snug. Most of that probably came between May and August when it was too hot to stick to my long neighborhood walks. I think I lost all of that and more since getting a treadmill in late August - being more active just naturally motivated me to eat less. (I could still stand to use 15 to 20 pounds - things were not great pre-Covid).

I lost. I can't eat when I'm stressed. I didn't have any to lose and now look like a wrinkly raisin with deflated boobs and feel terrible about myself.

None. I divided my commute time into quarters.

1. more time to work out
2. more time with DH
3. more time with kids
4. more time to read

And often my time with DH and the kids involves going for a walk.

I’ve lost 15 pounds, but like the PP, I eat when happy and lose my appetite when sad or stressed.

I would much rather be fat and happy than skinny and sad.

Oh gosh who knows. It started in 2019 w “I’m going to go crazy at the holidays for the first time ever and worry about it in spring!” That was about 10 lbs. Then spring started to arrive and brought covid w it and I was like — oh no! I can’t quit carbs NOW - I must bake bread and cookies and since I only shop once every two weeks now, it’s baked ziti for days. I’m about 25lbs more than I was last November. Also, I’ve always been a daily runner and that never changed — I shudder to think how enormous I’d be w/o that!

5 pounds, but I'm 5'0 so it's a lot and I can see/feel it. Mostly from drinking more, I think. And exercising less - made me realize how many calories I burned just going through my normal day (lots of walking/moving around at work) in the Before Times. Now I just sit on Zooms all day.

Lost 4 lbs in the beginning then gained 8 between June and now. Working to get back on track. It’s really hard being home all day. When i went to work I was much more regimented with my eating.

I haven't really gained anything but I'm not a snacker and I loved to eat out, which I don't do anymore.
