Too bad they are absent as they would have been competitive in most age groups.

ECNL clubs are entered but I don't think it is their ECNL team. McLean has entered their green teams

Not accurate. McLean's green teams are in the president's cup. In the two oldest groups for the state cup, Mclean entered what they "McLean EDP" teams, but if you look at the names of the players who scored, the players are on their ECNL roster.

McLean has 27 kids on their ECNL team. The players that rarely play in ECNL games played state cup.

Not true at '05. They played their best players, leaving many on the bench and still lost 4-0.

Wasn't true at '04 either.

And definitely not true for 03/02 team.

Oh good grief you folks are not doing much for the catty reputations of parents at both clubs. Let’s try to limit the madness to girls soccer parents.

If people wouldn't tell lies then other people wouldn't have to correct them. Dont call out the people correcting the lies. Call out the liar.

Not just the two oldest groups. They entered "EDP teams" in U15, U16, U17, and U19. In every case this was the ECNL team.

How the hell does a coach manage a roster of 27 players? Do some of those players, who don’t play much (or at all) in ECNL games, play games with McLean Green? Or in another league?

They seem to have entered the same team in ECNL and EDP - so maybe some of the kids play mostly in EDP and others mostly in ECNL? I'm not a McLean parent so I don't really know. Wouldn't be anything I would sign my kid up for though.

I only spoke about the two oldest groups, because I know the players in those age groups. I did not mean to imply that the club fielded ECNL teams only in the oldest age groups. It would make sense that they used a consistent approach across all age groups.

Does anyone know the score of the 06 boys semifinal between Herndon and Skyline? The VYSA website hasn’t been updated.

State cup, a runner up championship.

There are no top teams in state cup, only 2nd and lower.

Agreed (false, incomplete, generally dumb statement) but then again, it speaks for itself. Somebody people are completely without class or grace, and they often lack intelligence and any sense of when to be quiet. But of course we are well aware of this already. I guess nothing really surprises me at this point.
