If you choose, hold your child out. That’s fine. But I have no respect for you if you judge others who are getting back on the field.

I disagree. Your actions effect everyone in the county. We can't play soccer in the county and you shouldn't be allowed to outside the county to play. If your players get the virus chances are we will continue what we are doing. Until people understand that their actions effect everyone, then we going to continue to be where we are, which is phase 2 and doesn't allow soccer.

Theyre abiding by the current regulations Karen.

Heard ECNL schedules are being redone (and dates pushed back) in attempt to eliminate as much overnight travel as possible. What is the countdown clock on the ECNL website for?....less than 3 days left on their clock. Is this when the big season cancellation announcement will be made?

No they are circumventing the rules, which is what Karen does because Karen only cares about herself and no one else.

This. They are really on top of things and also looking to create a good experience for the kids. I am guessing no overnight and teams meeting in the middle for games. If your child loves soccer then they will work with this disruption. Coaches are doing all they can with the teams. At some point, parents need to either believe their club is looing out for their kids or just leave. I think most negative comments are by people whose kids are not on the various teams.

I think PDA will want out of the mid Atlantic conference entirely because of the NJ quarantine restrictions. They will somehow put PDA blue into the NE conference,

They had probably hoped to engineer the conferences to try to avoid having blue and white have to compete in the same conference but the Blue parents are probably refusing to play in the mid atlantic.

how would switching make a difference?

Maryland would be the only state they had to worry about (currently), whereas if they move to the NE conference they have to worry about NY, Connecticut, and Massachussetts.

NY, CT, and Mass have much lower current transmission rates then many mid Atlantic states.

I don't see any league play for the fall season due to surging infections in mid Atlantic states. Spring could see league play if the virus is contained but that is a big if.

Can we stop with the moronic comments? First, MD is already playing soccer. Second, there is not a surge. The only issue in the DMV is the Tidewater area and the Gov just announce new rules to deal with folks there. MoCo is testing more and finding more cases but this cases aren't severe and the hospitalization rate is still around 33%. There will be issues with interstate travel but leagues dealing with those issues will make adjustments.
