| I bet ECNL and Ga schedules never get posted to their respective websites. I think the clubs are just working out schedules amongst themselves to keep the play within their own states. I have a DS with McLean and we were told we are only playing the Virginia teams. Probably will play twice during the fall |
Not correct. Goal is to play the "local" teams in the fall, with "travel" to the "non-local" teams in the Spring (when things, presumably, are better on the COVID front). "Local" is a relative term, but in this case (for Mid-Atlantic) it means the VA teams play home/away matches this fall against each other, and the NC/SC group of teams does the same thing. They'll "travel" in the spring and play against each other at that point. |
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. |
Great quote. Except Tyson himself always had a plan and he always got punched in the mouth. If you don't have a plan at all, you are not going to win, in boxing or otherwise. If you do have one, you may or may not. But don't depend on only one plan. I think that is wise for this and so many other things right now. |
I can tell that you don’t understand what the quote means at all. |
Nonsense, moron, but I can see that is your plan. |
Not only did PP not understand the quote, but in his last response above, looks like he’s living it just a bit. |
Np- my take from pps response "Great quote. Except Tyson himself always had a plan and he always got punched in the mouth. If you don't have a plan at all, you are not going to win, in boxing or otherwise. If you do have one, you may or may not. But don't depend on only one plan. I think that is wise for this and so many other things right now." Tyson says Holyfield has plans that get immediately shot down when he's blindsided by a punch (punch being a covid surge in the winter). But tyson was being a hypocrite because he too also stayed with plans and was blindsided by punches. So to not have a plan by anyone is asinine and not only that, have a plan b ready when you are punched (or when covid ruins that spring plan). |
| Ah, platitudes. The fodder of the mentally feeble. ECNL has a plan. It was a result of being punched in the mouth with Covid. At least they have a plan that’s feasible unlike DA who panicked and folded. What’s GA’s plan? Haven’t heard much here on this board. Anyone know? Do they? |
| Who cares about the GA. That’s like being concerned about CCL. |
|
Huh? Folks care about whatever league their kid plays in and are not focused on other youth leagues. As it should be.
If you start investing time in youth sports that do not involve your own child, I would seriously consider that you need to reexamine what you are doing with your time and energy. |
| My God this ECNL person is one of the most defensive individuals on this board. Pat, pat, your kid plays in a “top league”. Feel better now? |
I know at least one is trying to scrimmage with ECNL teams. |
| Can you folks stop? Let’s focus more n the schedules. Anyone heard anything about ECNL NE schedule. Also, what is latest on GA and are they doing any tournaments? |
#truth GA vs ECNL friendlies on the very near horizon. Maybe then we can get back to arguing about friendly scores and the top teams! |
