How dare you
the HIPPA police will be outraged with this disregard for personal health information. I'll be reporting this string to them so they can follow up and charge any and all involved.

Dear Bethesda SC Parents,

I hope that this message finds you well. With the fall 2020 season just right around the corner I wanted to provide you with an update with our plans for the upcoming season.

As many of you are aware, this week Montgomery County Public Schools decided to cancel their 2020 fall and winter High School Sports seasons. I wanted to take this opportunity to assure you that as of this moment our 2020-2021 season will be continuing as scheduled. This includes camps, clinics, practices, and games. Official practices for the 2020-2021 season will start August 1st. In addition, we are also looking for additional opportunities to assist our players whose High School seasons were impacted by the MCPS decision so that their college ambitions are not impeded in any way.

Our club is continuously working with our various leagues as well as state and national associations to create competition structures for this season that are safe and up to our standards for quality of play. We will continue to provide you with updates as information becomes available. As our club has mentioned throughout the summer should there be a delayed start to the fall season or a stoppage in play our club will provide a fair financial adjustment for the 2020-2021 season.

Finally, I also wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for your patience, your feedback, and your support over these past few months. Creating a Return to Play system and a Summer Camp program that gets our players back on the field safely has required an extraordinary effort from all members of the BSC community. Your feedback and support have been instrumental in making our summer programs a success and given us additional insight in getting prepared for the fall season.

I look forward to seeing all of you on the field soon and remember-We Are Bethesda!

Bethesda Soccer Club should be ashamed of themselves. All they care about is $$$
No concern for the safety of the children. Just use them to get the dollars they want from the parents

What? So what are you implying? That all soccer in the state of maryland should shut down?

Because BSC isnt doing anything other clubs arent doing.

So please, expand on your comment please. I have a son that plays for BSC and I am impressed with their planning and how theyve handled and communicated to their families.

I disagree. Many of us do. Please learn to respect our differences of opinion. If you are worried, please make your own decisions. We will do the same in light of what we know and don't know. You are free to do the same. That is essentially the whole idea of living here.

BSC is setting a bad standard. No consideration for the health of the kids. I agree with the former post. I'll second it How dare they!!!
furthermore, to hijack a thread to make an announcement to pitch you club is just disgusting

Just wait till the outbreak occurs club wide and BSC will have to defend their actions then
good luck then

I'll bite: what is the bad standard? What should BSC and other clubs do differently, in your opinion?

You mean no one has symptoms yet? I am assuming no one was actually tested.

Please come back on her and post when first member of BSC tests positive. It will happen eventually whether the person gets Covid from BSC or not.

Good for BSC. At least these kids have something to look forward to. Most of their peers don't.

Agreed, good for BSC. I’m a parent with my kids in camp, assistant coaching a travel team that is currently practicing, and planning on coaching a house team in the fall.

If you choose, hold your child out. That’s fine. But I have no respect for you if you judge others who are getting back on the field.

I disagree. Your actions effect everyone in the county. We can't play soccer in the county and you shouldn't be allowed to outside the county to play. If your players get the virus chances are we will continue what we are doing. Until people understand that their actions effect everyone, then we going to continue to be where we are, which is phase 2 and doesn't allow soccer.
