So that is what top 1000 in the world? top 500? |
That’s sweet. |
As they should! My U15 just turned 14 years old 3 months ago and is in 8th grade. He is just starting a growth spurt. He is competitive now as one of the younger/smaller kids and it will be interesting when he’s 6 feet- 6’2” like rest of males in our family. |
That makes no sense. Stopping right when they are just growing into themselves as players? It should continue all the way to the end of high school. Sometimes players who look great as middle schoolers burn out, and sometimes middle schoolers who looked average come into their own as juniors. |
Probably not where my kid will go. |
No problem. There's plenty of soccer programs and levels to play up. This is more for kids wanting to upper section of D1, like the 50 or so-ish programs. If it's a middle of the road or bottom level D1 program, any decent ECNL or DA player should be fine. |
Bless your silly ol’heart. You’re one big mixed bag of confusion. NTCs are for little girls. Some who haven’t even hit puberty. It’s over a year after most hit puberty (15). You really think that the goofy local coaches can pick the winners/losers who will go on to the top 50 schools? Here’s what I know for a fact 1. I know girls that went to one NTC and were never invited back 2. I know girls that went to multiple NTCs and at 16 quit the sport 3. I know girls that went to multiple NTCs and by 16 were part time players on DA teams behind girls that were never invited 4. I know girls that went to multiple NTCs and at 16 were bench players at local ECNL and sitting behind girls that never went. 5. I know girls that went to multiple NTCs and weren’t the best player on their team 6. I know girls that went to multiple NTCs because of connections and not performance Experience is the best teacher. One day you’ll get some. Hang in there kiddo |

Yeah you little whippersnapper! Pipe down and listen to someone who is either: 1) A long-term fixture of the DMV soccer industrial complex (and therefore a long-term part of the problem they rail against); 2) A helicopter/bull-dozer parent where girls youth soccer consumes their life because they have nothing else to do; or 3) They are full of equine manure. Nothing to see here.
You oversold yourself when you covered every conceivable variation of NTC scenarios as “factual” knowledge. Anyone could have made that list with having NO knowledge of the NTC/YNT process. |

The NTCs are not an indicator of future success. I didn’t cover “every possible scenario”. I told you facts. Youre the type of person that touches a hot stove even after everyone told you not too. |

Condescending and arrogant. I like that in man who doesn’t know that 15 is the age when boys start to hit puberty, not girls. You lost credibility about girls soccer with that insight into your “factual” knowledge.
Which of the three categories are you? I’m guessing helicopter/bull-dozer parent that did everything in your power to get an NTC invite for your kid(s) and are now bitterly attempting to tear down the whole process. Is this where I end with calling you Sweetheart or Darling? |
| Leave Mad Men Man alone! |
My lord, the truth really does hurt. I’m assuming you are the parent of a girl who went to an NTC and therefore thinks she is the next big thing, huh. Your Facebook friends are surly impressed. However, every single thing I wrote is facts. You’re not special. Just an FYI, the average age for the ONSET of puberty for girls in the US is 10.5 (7-13). The whole process of puberty take 3-4 years. You do the math. Keep sticking the fork in the socket. Moron |
| I know you are but what am I? |
| The average life expectancy of a Neanderthal was 28.3. I commend you on your longevity! |
The average life expectancy of a crash dummy is zero; you soulless creature. Just kidding. I’m sure you have a soul. You probably just can’t find it after you sold it to a Capri wearing coach. Keep flaunting your stupidity. It looks good on ya Muah |
