As they should!  My U15 just turned 14 years old 3 months ago and is in 8th grade.  He is just starting a growth spurt.  He is competitive now as one of the younger/smaller kids and it will be interesting when he’s 6 feet- 6’2” like rest of males in our family.

That makes no sense.  Stopping right when they are just growing into themselves as players?  It should continue all the way to the end of high school.  Sometimes players who look great as middle schoolers burn out, and sometimes middle schoolers who looked average come into their own as juniors.  [/quote]
