Guy here. Kate was hot then (and clearly had hips here) and she’s not now. I think this is a lot of women analyzing here. Plus, people don’t like to admit it, but the smoking anc sexy look added to her total hotness.

Sure she got lucky , in the same way Barack Obama got lucky, in the same way anyone “gets lucky.” She was the look of the day although let’s be honest, they look is still hugely popular. A Kim kardashian will eventually go out of fashion too. It’s not like women are making progress. It’s just replacing one body type (and usually by a girl around 25) by another to obsess over and objectify.

You do have to realize that when Kate moss was a model it was the biggest deal in the world to have Tyra Banks actually on the front of sports illustrated it was groundbreaking.
