Let’s say you were poor...like really poor. You had to drop out of high school to support yourself. It’s nice to say oh I would never do “x” enjoying wealth and privilege.

Well, I did grow up poor, a poor immigrant, to boot. Melania had choices. She wasn't dirt poor. She was in college but decided to drop out, then used her body as a ticket out.

If I were dirt poor from a high crime country like El Salvador, and this was my ticket out, sure, I might contemplate it, but that's not the situation for most May/December relationships in the US. The women are not that dirt poor from a war/violence ravaged country.

But to OP's question - these women are attracted to the money. That's it. If you think women don't care about physical looks at all then you are naive. But, to some women, being rich is more important than anything else. It's why women like Melania turn a blind eye time and again to their husband's infidelity.

Ok I know it doesn’t matter but no, she wasn’t. There’s no evidence that Melania modeled with anything approaching success in Europe before she met Trump. Those nudes are the only evidence of paid work even close to “modeling.” If you look at her lawsuit with the Telegraph, she didn’t provide evidence of anything, she only called them on not independently fact checking a book. Author/publisher stand by it (and haven’t been sued).

Melania has a brown monkey face...think one of those brown monkeys hoping from tree to tree in India....yes that's where we saw them.

Many (most?) women marry for money to a certain extent. There was a thread on here not too long ago about whether they had income requirements for someone they would marry. Most did. Few women on this board, for example, would marry someone whose ceiling is security guard at Walmart or french fry man at McDonalds. There is another thread on here about a husband who has not worked in a few years, most responses were to dump him with the quickness.

So there's a continuum from marrying an older rich guy to requiring your husband to at least have a job that could support a family. But the difference seems to be in degree, not kind.

Why would you need an NDA if there was nothing going on? Trump is notorious for not texting. Who says there are no phone records between the two? And maybe his handlers arranged it all.

I used to think that, but I think it is a little more complicated than that. Especially if the guy earned the money on his own and it wasn't just due to a lottery ticket for example. I once asked this woman I dated who in the past had dated drug dealers/hustlers why she found them attractive. She explained that she liked the fact that they had the gumption to be willing to break the law to put money in their pockets and take care of their girlfriends. For some women, the man being able to secure money makes him more attractive. If he didn't have any money he would not be attractive. But you could say that about almost any guy with any job. Men out there, lose your job and remain unemployed and see how your dating life fares.
