| It's an easy party school. |
For law school. |
Yet Jenna Bush spent her father's first term at the University of Texas-Austin. |
| This was discussed in a previous thread. The reasons given (who knows if there's any truth) were that she has friends going there, she's a bit of a partier, and her sister isn't having the greatest experience at Harvard. |
People think Malia isn't having a good time at Harvard? Never heard that rumor, I figured the culture there wouldn't care if someone was famous by association of parents and there's pretty big grade inflation, so it can't be that difficult academically. |
| Has it been confirmed that Sasha is going too Michigan? Only people that would know are Sidwell senior families because the Obamas didn't release a decision on May 1st like they did previously. |
No. And I doubt the Obamas will announce it because they are no longer on the White House. Of course some paparazzo will catch them at move-in day someplace. |
Michigan might be a good decision. Madonna's daughter & Arnold Schwarzenegger's son recently went there & there was never any photos of them. |
| Serious Question; I’ve worked in large companies, government, and consulting firms. I don’t see a ton of Ivy League graduates killing it anywhere. Sure you see them from time to time, but the vast majority of people really succeeding in the USA didn’t go to Ivey league schools. |
I am still sad that I never crossed paths with Madonna in Ann Arbor. My DC was there at the same time as hers and she was there periodically. |
|
A better question:
Why would a random person on the internet feel the need to disparage the college choice of a person they have never met? |
| I read that Madonna's daughter left there after a year and during that year spent many weekends in NY anyway |
Right. Michigan grads go to the best law, medical, business and grad schools. |
If her friends are going there, that’s all that matters. |
I think she was there 2 1/2 years. Madonna herself only went for 3 years before moving to NY to become a dancer. |
