This. And ever since he lost all his hair...this article said it best. He is drab in comparison to his much more charismatic brother. Harry is Prince Charming, personified. Sucks for William. |
I just posted those other photos and I agree. You put anyone under a microscope and snap that many pictures of them, you can find whatever you need to create a narrative. You all forget that when Kate and Will were newly married, some creep used a high powered camera from football fields away to snap pictures of her sunbathing topless on a private vacation. If that happened to any of us as newlyweds, I am sure we would be over the top at keeping our private moments private and curating a very sanitized public persona. |
| Yes, but William will be king, so William wins. I think interest and Harry and Megan will die down when they're no longer newly weds. Once W&K's kids grow up, no one will give two hoots about Harry and Megan. |
Same. And William looked great when he had hair. It will be interesting to see what Harry looks like once he loses his. It's already starting to happen. |
Who cares whose face is on coins? Really? When you’re dead your dead as far as I know. |

Penny Junor has made a career of writing unauthorized books about Charles. I'm not sure she really knows the real inside scoop. It's in her best interest to imply that she knows more than she does.
There are lots of news stories suggesting that William is pricklier and more serious than Harry. There are also lots of stories indicating that William and Harry are very close. There are also lots of interviews they have given suggesting that neither would cry very hard if the monarchy were abolished tomorrow. I think they both feel pretty hemmed in. I suspect that William might have to s top and think, though, if he realized that getting rid of the monarchy means his grandmothers personal fortune would pay two rounds of inheritance tax and then be split among all of his relatives, as opposed to being passed to him intact. |
Not to mention the only places the royal family actually legally own are Sandringham and Balmoral Estate. Relatively modest affairs and big step down for a family that is presently spread between six palaces. They’d be selling off the royal jewels within two generations. |
No william doesnt win. He will be waiting around for decades for that job and then completely boxed in. Harry gets a lot more freedom-the advantages of being a royal without as many rules and requirements to be king. |

I wonder if William and Harry were raised differently, knowing one would be king and one would not. It seems that Harry has more allowances to be himself, and that extends to Meghan, whereas William and Kate are meant to behave a certain way as the future king and queen. That had to have had an effect on their personalities.
It is possible that William is prickly and maybe jealous, and also that the brothers are very close. Those aren't mutually exclusive. |
| Prince Andrew had a livelier personality and was more popular than Charles back in the day- now no one cares about him. Same will happen with Harry and William. |
| Diana used to talk about how Harry would always have it the better of the two because he wouldn’t carry the burden of being the heir. He would always have more freedom, less scrutiny. |
I hope not. Charles went through hell for 15 years with people publicly mocking him about everything from his organic produce efforts to his private sex talk with Camilla. It also cannot be easy being the longest serving Prince Of Wales. Powerless but expected to be the most dutiful son in existence. At this rate William will probably be the Prince Of Wales for 25-30 years. |
Must be Megan’s doing. She is driving the brothers part. |
How is this news? Don't all the royals have their own "offices"? They all have different causes and different schedules. Andrew and Edward don't share a personal secretary. There is no main phone number to call then press 1 for Anne or 2 for Sophie. William and Harry are on different trajectories. William will be king with a child who will be king. Harry won't. Harry already does his own thing with Invictus and Sentebale. Its administrative more than anything and the word "court" is being used rather than use the word "office". The article even says: First of all, referring to it as “separate courts” is so f-cking fancy and elite. I mean we’re talking about offices or departments. Few, however, can get away with calling it “separate courts”. The division, at this point, makes sense. William will be king. And his son will be king. He’s a team of five now. As his children get older, they’ll have their own considerations. As for Harry and Meghan, from the very beginning, they’ve spoken of their partnership, of the work they’re looking forward to doing together, which we’ve seen over the last few weeks on this tour. As The Times’s source explained, “[William and Harry] have become different people with different outlooks on life”. One office, or “court”, handling both these households, with their own individual and unique brands, probably won’t be realistic for too much longer. |
