Here is the girls

If someone could follow up with the list of players from Any other club that is not ecnl or da that is doing this please post links below.

Most of the crazies will have left well before these results, a loss at the cherry blossom tournament just may be enough for them...

But didn't this discussion kick off by someone saying that they're looking to recruit a bunch of 2007s?

However that particular team is on the smaller size physically and you can only squeeze so much out of them. This is where you see kids starting to develop both in skill and physically maturing in size. Ive heard the TD over there is hungry to win another national title. The talk has been the current 07s aren't what they feel they need to make a strong push and the need to reload that group.

The idea that they're willing to accept early losses at BRYC is fine, but not consistent with recruiting a new team of players (if that is what they are, in fact, doing).

And isn't that the reason that their 2005 boys team disintegrated a year or two ago?

Unless you know the coach personally how can you say that they are trying to recruit large numbers. ECNL/DA clubs typically do recruit a lot more than the average club as they are competing on a national stage. It comes with the territory, if you do not like this stay far away from ECNL and DA.

You gotta stop putting ECNL and DA in the same category, at least on the boys' side. Not the same. Not even close. Even less so with BRYC.

I think we all know from hearing from parents that BRYC sells the dream. Then treats the families like garbage when the see better teams at the same age group. I feel for the pre ECNL 07 families come this spring. The recruiting has begun this winter especially as they move in to 11v11 full field. Its a shame most of these families have been with BRYC since u9 and being replaced by a whole new batch of kids that other clubs have been developing.

Agreed. Boy’s DA is in another universe from boys ECNL.

Girls are about the same nationally but depends on the market.

Sells the dream? Did you miss the links with players going to college... You have to remember this is competitive soccer, if you are looking for a guaranteed home for you're kid for the next 8 years don't play in the ecnl/da.

The same people that are complaining about BRYC are also upset/angry their kids are going to be replaced. Does this mean you actually want to stay at BRYC and it isn't so bad after all...

Boys DA will split soon and the MLS clubs will have their own league. The Boys ECNL will be the next best thing when the MLS pulls out of the DA. Most of those clubs that are non MLS in the DA are already starting to switch to boys ECNL.

Please tell me who many from the boys teams are actually getting 100% full scholarships strictly for playing soccer ? don't count other sports or academics or even financial aid for low income. but just 100% full scholarships because of what BRYC has built them into. share the true numbers.

As previously asked, how do you know that they are recruiting at 07? Did you speak to the coach? Did parents of those being recruited reach out to you?

You are an idiot.. full scholarships are not a common thing in D1 soccer. Most full scholarships go to international players. Men's D1 college programs have 9.9 full scholarships to split between 25-30 players.

You do the math.

This is silly. Fully funded D1 programs get 9.9 scholarships. You can’t base a clubs success on the # of full-rides. Doesn’t make sense.

Maybe 2-3 players on any D1 college soccer team (men's or women's) get a full scholarship. Almost everyone gets partial $$.
