Solidcore pricing

Credit card companies/banks often freeze a credit card or deny a transaction for multiple transactions online that seem like duplicates, and it happened to me recently with solid core when I was trying to reserve multiple special mock training classes. Those mock classes, when solidcore offers them, also require separate transactions to reserve, and I was trying to reserve three different days, and after the first reservation Citibank started denying my transaction as “duplicate”. It was super frustrating.

I predict the same thing will start happening next week when I try to reserve multiple off peak classes. Ugh. I wish there was an off peak package again, even if it didn’t offer a discount beyond the off peak package.

PP here, I just tried with my Amex to reserve classes for next week and after paying for the first class Amex denied my transaction on the second class as a duplicate. What a headache! I emailed my studios manager, I can’t deal with this. I don’t necessarily care about losing the off peak package discount, but I can’t use several different credit cards to just make two or three reservations in a row. Ugh.

I'm a longtime client at Solidcore, and I completely agree. For me personally, getting rid of the 40 pack for $1160 is the worst. It's not a good move to take incentives away from your most loyal users!

They didn't get rid of it. Check your app or the website.

I did check. It was there last week, but it's gone this morning at the Wildwood studio website. The prices may vary between studios, I imagine.

I use the app and see the 40-pack.

To all of you who are having these problems with booking and general complaints about the pricing changes, please let solidcore know! They won't change anything unless we ask them to (and still may not but it can't hurt to try).

Not yet, but I don't necessarily expect them to respond within 24 hours. I had a lot to say. But I think the more emails they receive, the better. What's there to lose?

+1. I went to class today and the manager encouraged people that had concerns (which was a large number just in one class) to email the main email address.

Has anyone noticed attendance is down in classes?

I imagine that most people are not on per class pricing, so that would be unlikely to happen so soon, right?

Do you mean since they made the announcement? I don't think that would happen immediately, as PP said. For example, I'm finishing out a 40 pack that I bought at 12% off. I'm not going to forego those classes because I'm pissed at them. In general the change I've noticed is them having a lot more class options (many off-peak) but then being quick to cancel them if they don't get more than 5-6 people. When I first started a morning class with my now-favorite coach over a year ago, there would often only be four of us. They would never let that class run now (thank god it's typically full). My take is that overall they're tightening up their financials, which would make sense given their expansion and how their leadership team has changed.

PP, glad to hear your manager was encouraging folks to email the main address, and that others in your class weren't happy! I didn't get the chance to talk about it yesterday morning but will bring it up tomorrow when I go. A few IRL friends have emailed them, I know, so I will keep spreading the word. I will say that I felt a bit distracted yesterday in class, which *never* happens, and I wasn't as excited to be there. And then my coach destroyed my legs and I fell in love again. Ugh.

PP who posted this. I mean even before they made this announcement.

I noticed the more class/more likely to cancel, as I posted above. I kind of feel like they're throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what will stick.

The more popular coaches and times are still filling as usual, at least IMO.

I just got an email, no 40 pack.

The off peak class I attended this morning was full.

OP, what studio do you go to? I'm at CC but wondering whether you're having a better experience. You clearly love it!
