Dang it, yah, I know. That's one bad thing about anon websites. Well, if you can think of a way, it's giving me an estimated wait time of 19 minutes right now. Good luck!

Can't you two lovebirds create a new email address and post? Just trying to help you both out... |
lol I was just worried about someone else swooping in with that idea and OP not getting to take advantage. |
Any updates on ticket status? I’m 33k in line and am wonderingif there’s any hope at all
|
Well, the seating capacity of the KC opera house is 2,364. If there are 107 performances, that is roughly 253K tickets. If they released half today and are holding half in reserve for the public sale, I'd say you have a decent shot of getting some, but not a shoe in if everyone get the max number of tickets allowed (4). My quick math with these assumptions tell me that about 31.5K people will get tickets, so depending on how many tickets each person gets, I don't think 33K is hopeless. Hang in there, PP! |
| I know it's frustrating - the random place int he queue and all. But many of us were able to get tickets that typically would nt have been possible using ticketmaster with scalpers and bots scooping up all the tix before us. The system seems to be working. I think they could have communicated to us in a better way about what to expect today - i.e. that it would take hours. |
But some of the tickets were already sold before today, right? To the National Theater subscribers. |
| I’m 13,403 in line and there are currently 3,926 users in front of me. |
Correct. |
| The question is what’s left. How long will they keep going before all the member tix are sold out? |
| I'm guessing there won't be any tickets for non-season pass holders? |
| I need a xanax. |
They kept an allotted portion for members and a separate portion for non-members. There will also be same available same day each show. |
|
My chance comes up in less than an hour and I am so stressed out because I'm not even sure I can remember how to sign in, let alone manage to get tickets.
On the other hand, note that I don't think this ticket system is discriminating at all between members (membership alone just costs $60) and season pass holder subscriptions that can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. So if I get tickets out of this with my $60 membership, I will be thrilled! |
It does not discriminate- I got tickets earlier today out of my $60 membership! Good luck you you, PP! |
