+1

I think that was me and you are welcome

I have tickets in hand (and pretty amazing seats too) but I need to go on and try to get more because they coincide with when my kids have camp, and they are the true fans. Incidentally, the shows at the National have been amazing!

+1 - I have thoroughly enjoyed the Broadway subscription this year. We have split our 2 tix up so that we go with our kids, and Mean Girls was most appreciated by my spouse and I really enjoyed Something Rotten. Can't wait for Waitress (and, of course, Hamilton). Also am eager to see what will be coming next year - will have to do some wheedling to hopefully get spouse to re-up our subscription once more.

Same. We are hooked.

I didn't realize I wanted to subscription to the National until it was too late (all the ones including Hamilton were sold out). Plus I would have had to call to change the dates on just about everything... seemed like the tickets were for days that wouldn't work for us like Christmas eve...

She means the shows she has seen at the National as a result of buying the subscription, which she did so she could access the Hamilton tickets.

There isn't a show, sporting event, concert, play etc worth the cost of those tickets.

How much are the tickets?

If you’re a theatre nerd it is!

I wouldn’t pay these prices for concert tix or sporting tix.

Likewise, my husband just spent $800 on tix for Saturday’s outdoor hockey game that’s Caps vs Leafs. He’d never buy broadway tix in that price range even tho he enjoys seeing the shows with me.

I'm a member and waiting for the 10am sale to open up. Since I don't have to login until my place in line has reached, do you think it's okay to open a bunch of browser windows on different devices and then just stick with the one that gets the best random number at 10? That's my plan but I thought I'd pass it by another mind in case anyone knows why that won't work.

You wouldn't say that if you actually saw the show! Best show ever! I want to see it in NY.

Isn't the point of buying them today to avoid the outrageous costs? I don't think $200 for a show is that off the wall.

I saw it in NYC and paid $199 for tickets. It was worth it.

If you don't have luck with the Kennedy Center tickets, there are a couple of other options. It's also coming to Baltimore, so that's a second nearby possibility: https://baltimore.broadway.com/shows/hamilton-baa/

You can also sign up for the Hamilton app - that gives you the option to sign up for the daily ticket lottery in whatever cities you choose.

Good luck!

I received same number on two different tabs. In the 9000s. Ugh - that sounds impossible.

There are 38,000 people in line ahead of me. HOLY SMOKES!

are there really 22000 people who are season ticket holders?

I’m in the 50,000s. Not holding out much hope.
