I'm fed up. Making an Appt for Phentermine

Anonymous
OP, I just lost 70 lbs. Went from a size 18 to 4.

My doctor kept telling me I needed to lose weight which I knew. Just like everyone else, I tried various things and nothing worked. When you are fat, you feel hungrier. So my last physical which was last march she said "ok I'm putting you on Qysmia"

I said ok, I'll give it a try. I researched how the drug works and she monitored me closely. Meaning if I didn't start losing weight she was going to take me off. I really gave it my best shot to eat healthy while on this drug.

I started counting calories on myfitnesspal and made sure I stayed at 1200 or below. It was not a problem on Qysimia. You still feel hungry, but the choice between a burger and a salad it not hard to make when you take the phentermine. I only went up in dosage once and that is all I needed. I took it for four months which is all I needed to reset my habits.

I also started exercising and went from not being able to walk up the stairs to training hard.

You still have to put the work in of course. But phenteramine can help with giving you the nudge and support. OH, I almost forgot. The energy levels the first three months were AMAZING. The drug really does wonders with that.

I'm happy to answer any other questions you have.

Seek therapy for your disordered eating issues.

I feel sorry for you. Mostly because you are too ignorant to even try something and understand why that PP wrote she feels great.

I could not care less what you or the disordered PP think.

I’m going to BeLite on Thursday but I’m worried they’ll tell me my weight is in the normal range (5’7”, 155), which I think technically it is, but it’s 10 pounds more than I’ve been, historically, and nothing I do to lose a pound makes a difference. I’m pretty sure it’s a combination of perimenopause and a bad bout of seasonal affective disorder but I’m concerned if I don’t get things in hand I’ll keep gaining.

Can you take this while on Wellbutrin, which is an antidepressant that is also a stimulant? I’ve read that some who take Wellbutrin lose weight. Sadly that hasn’t happened for me, but it helped with my depression.

I'm prone to anxiety/panic attacks and one of the triggers is a racing heart.

For me it didn't make my heart race during normal day to day activity, but it absolutely made it skyrocket during exercise. It scared the crap out of me when things I was normally perfectly in shape to do would make my heart go nuts.

It also gave me crazy cottonmouth. I couldn't stand it. I didn't last 10 days on it.

I've been on phen pro for just over a month and have lost 13 lbs. My goal is to lose 40. I'm also doing intermittent fasting and eating low carb. After 6+ months of not exercising, I've also started working out again. One thing about the phen pro is that the prozac still makes me feel sleepy and groggy. When I take it at night, it seems like the phen isn't quite as effective as when I take the prozac with the phen in the morning. Anyone have this experience? I hope that I get used to the prozac at some point because it is awful feeling like I have brain fog every day.

The plus if dry mouth for me was it forced me to carry a water bottle and drink lots of water - which had me peeing every Hour, even at night tho

I take the Phen @8 in the morning and the Pro at night and that works. It seems the phen wears off just around bedtime enough for the Prozac to help me fall asleep @11pm and sleep til 4 or 5. (Tonight I’m up with a sick kid, and it’s really hard not to snack out of boredom; so I’m on DCUM

While I lost 10 lbs on phen, I developed rage, insomnia and unstable behavior.

Whoa, that sounds super frightening. I do feel more energetic and focused; not sure if that's a placebo effect or not. I had a bit of insomnia, which Anchors addressed by switching the prozac for trazadone.

All the steps you are taking are the same ones I did a year ago. Good luck! I took both pills together in the morning (which Dr suggested). I get up around 7, pills around 8:30, bed around 10/11 (my sleep has always been iffy though). Sometimes I'd wake up around 3am, then would be so worried about dragging the next day but never did.

I started at 168 pounds, 3 months on the pills, lost 32. Took off about 6-7 months just to maintain, then 2 months lost about 4 pounds on my own (more like gain 2, lose 3, gain 1.5, lose 1. . .) Back on the pills for 3 more months, aiming to lose about 12-15 pounds so those loss/gain cycles won't matter as much when off the pills. Now about 126/128 and hope to finish up at 118/120.

I did, although I cut back from 3 cups to maybe 1.5-2. Trust me, it will come naturally because you will have an abundance of energy.

I never had any heart racing issues.

Im fat not from lacknof exercise. Im at OTF 3xs a week and then lift weights/row/treadmill in my basement the other 3 days. I run my heart hard and could easily step out my front door and run a half marathon this afternoon. I just eat too damn much!

How does phen-pro react with HIIT? I'm afraid to stress my heart.
