I'm prone to anxiety/panic attacks and one of the triggers is a racing heart.

Here, I googled it for you since most DCUMers don't know how !

Controlled substance: Can cause rapid or irregular heartbeat, delirium, panic, psychosis, and heart failure.

I’ll be sticking to diet and exercise personally.

I bet a lot of the naysayers here are in controlled substances themselves. But for some reasons it’s okay to pop a Valium or a Klonopin or an Adderall, all of which are scheduled higher and more prone to abuse. Whatever makes you feel superior, though.

Is that medicine basically Ritalin?
And OP was your title meant to se sarcastic? You are literally FED UP?

For all of the haters, I'd like to see what YOU do behind closed doors. Don't judge. You saw the title. Like every other board on here, if it doesn't apply to you, move on. There are plenty of SAHM/WOHM wars for you to chime into with your perfect advice.

If you haven't yet tried it, it's free, has no unhealthy side effects (if don't properly), and might be worth trying before you go on a medication with lots of side effects.

Except for the part where, ya know, you DON’T EAT.

No one cares about your intermittent fasting story. Bye!

DP. You don't see to understand the concept of not gaining weight or losing weight. It happens by not eating, or eating much, much less than previously. Your comment is asinine as you are looking for a medication that will stop you from eating but you criticize people who are doing just that without a controlled substance medication. I went without eating yesterday for 24 hours, I feel great!

You keep laughing and keep being fat. To each their own.

Maybe one day... ONE DAY... being fat won't be such a moral failing that people can just live their lives and not have to worry about it. But, because of people like you, who obviously think fat is a horrific thing to be, I'll keep taking my prescription meds and hope to not draw your ire.

I’m a size 4, thanks. With a host of athletic accomplishments. There is absolutely nothing you can say to make me feel bad about myself, which is apparently how you get your fun—you can lose all the weight you want but you’ll still be ugly and miserable.

Can we get this thread back on track?

I am 5 feet tall, 164 pounds last wednesday. 157 pounds today. Started PhenPro with Dr. Anchors. No side effects, except my sleep quality is poor. He told me to take 1/2 tab of Phen for 6 days then increase to 1. But 1/2 tab is working so well, I will stick with it for a while. I am not hungry at all. And intrestingly it is blocking my very unhealthy cravings for Diet Coke. Yes Dr. Anchors is a little strange but if you listen he makes sense.

I agree. If you use just Phen, or PhenPro, please chime in. I am a patient of Dr. Anchors. Yes, he is odd, but I think he and his assistant are both good people who mean well. Nobody cares if you don't agree. I take 1/2 a pill of Phen per day. It helps enough with hunger, but I still have to make good choices. I also cycle off off it, for no other reason just to make sure I can.

No, sorry. I lost 60lbs in my late thirties (and maintained it, after having that extra weight my entire life) the old fashioned way. Sweat, getting fit, eating everything in moderation and mostly cooking at home.

The only pill I took was the birth control pill (which I was on long before, and after the process). Occasional antihistamine, occasional ibuprofen. Nothing else.

You're not a scientific anomaly by not being able to lose weight the real, natural, healthy way - you're lazy or not disciplined. It's hard - I've been there myself - but if you're looking for a dangerous pill, you're lazy and undisciplined and not in the right emotional/mental state of mind. So yeah, I'll judge.

Have been taking phen-pro with Anchors for about five months. I've lost about 20 pounds - 10 pretty quickly and the rest have been slooooow and steady. I cycle on and off a bit. I've been off for about 3 weeks because I had a cold and wanted to take decongestants. I do get dry mouth when I take the phen. Otherwise no side effects. I work out hard with a heart rate monitor and do not notice any difference in heart rate when I'm on it. The program has been great for me because I just eat a lot less and have stopped snacking altogether. I have about 30 pounds to go and plan for that to take another several months at least.

Thanks for this. I am the poster above who mentioned cycling off and on. Did your blood pressure go up on Phen? Mine did (I assume due to the Phen, but not sure). I assume that if I DID take the full dose of Phen (vs half), my BP would rise even more. I am not sure, so I am sticking with 1/2 for now.
