Best concert you ever went to as an adult?

Mos Def at 9:30 club about 7-8 years ago. He was SUPER late for his set (by hours), I'd stood in the cold waiting for him to go on - when he finally hit the stage he brought it, and it was incredible.

Agreed! I do like a lot of country, but not all of it. Ironically I don't love most songs he releases for radio but I will see him live if given the chance again, he is so good. I think he is on the bill for that show at GMU with ZBB, Gary Clark Jr, Joe Walsh- its a tiny venue for those guys (mostly) and I am PUMPED to go. Love me some blues guitar.

Best concert experience for me was Springsteen at the Verizon Center. I'd love to see U2 at a small venue.

I was really disappointed with the Zac Brown Band at Jiffy Lube last year. No energy and just didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I had thought it would be a great concert.

I'm so disappointed to hear this. Hopefully ZBB is better in a smaller venue (although how they sellout stadium tours all over, I don't know). The Patriot Center event has other artists as well. Including Keith Urban--who always looks like he's giving 110% to his concert audience. Hoping for a fun night.

Sorry I just wrote about this but responding. I see ZBB every year, have for about 7 or 8 years now I guess, maybe 9. I have to say last year's at Jiffy Lube was probably the most "eh" I've ever been about a show. They were still good, but just not their usual. Their show at Nats park the summer before was Ah-ma-zing. Chills.

I am so excited for that Joe Walsh benefit concert, I haven't see them in a venue that small in a minute.

I didn't attend but saw the HBO taped concert so many times I could probably recite the set list. My boyfriend in college was obsessed and JJ really did put on a show!

For me No Doubt 2009 and just saw Gwen again last year. She is amazing but together they are amazing!!!!!

Also loved N Sync for the energy and spectacle.

I saw Radiohead at UMD when I was in seventh grade so early 90s (92?) and 311 at Buzz/Nation in late 90s. How I wish I could go back and see them again.

Did a few HFStivals at RFK and saw RHCP, Hole, Foo Fighters and more. Those shows rocked

Similarly, I've seen Springsteen's The River tour twice -- 36 years apart. Both were awesome.

I am a big fan of 21 pilots although I'm amazed at how many people I know I've never heard of them. My husband has very specific taste in music and this is definitely not one of the NORs of my kids but when they do come to this area I will most definitely be dragging a friend and going I think they are super talented and have a really unique sound
